PORTLAND — Robert Gomez, 29, of Saco, and Hayley O’Malley, 27, of Ardmore, Pa., paced a field of more than 1,300 finishers at the 5th annual Portland Sea Dogs Father’s Day 5K.

Gomez finished in 15 minutes, 19 seconds — 12 seconds slower than his winning time at this year’s Mother’s Day 5K. Chris Harmon, 25, of Scarborough, was second in 15:49, and Aaron Chelate, 31, of Saco, took third in 16:19.
