PORTLAND — Kyle Reichert had a double and a home run and drove in three runs Thursday to lead undefeated Andrews Post to a 14-4 victory against visiting First Title in an American Legion Zone 4 baseball game.

Evan Gallant and Dan Kane also drove in three runs apiece for Andrews (10-0-2) against First Title (2-9).

 

STAPLES CROSSING 10, SB-SAVINGS 2: Max McCoomb went 4 for 4 with a double and five RBI, and Robert Jones tossed a two-hitter to lead Staples Crossing (10-1) past Saco-Biddeford Savings (6-6) at South Berwick.

Tyler Pratt’s two-run single started a six-run rally for Staples Crossing in the sixth.

WINDHAM 2, TRI-TOWN 0: Ethan Petty hit a two-run double in the second inning and Windham (12-2) held off visiting Mechanic Falls (3-8) in a Zone 3 game.

Joey Francoeur gave up two hits and struck out seven over five innings, and Cody Dube struck out five and didn’t allow a hit over two innings of relief.

Kaleb Bridgham had a double and a single for Mechanic Falls.

 

MOODY’S COLLISION 3, WESTBROOK 1: Dylan Turner had two hits and an RBI to help Moody’s Collision (13-0) win at Gorham.

Briar Morin added two hits and a run, and Nick Greatorex had an RBI single for Moody’s.

OA-YARMOUTH 5, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2: Jordan Brown struck out seven and allowed two hits in five innings, leading OA-Yarmouth (9-5) over Gray-New Gloucester (7-6) in a game that called because of darkness in the sixth inning at Gray.

 

SOUTH PORTLAND 12, LIBBY-MITCHELL 9: Ben Conti hit a two-run double to spark an eight-run second inning for visiting South Portland, which held off Scarborough (2-11) in a game stopped after six innings because of field conditions and darkness.

Tim Ross had a pair of hits and scored three runs, and Jack Posey also had two hits, including a double, for Scarborough.

FALMOUTH 3, WINDHAM 0: Cam Guarino struck out 10, walked one and held the Windham Merchants (4-8) to two hits, leading Falmouth (6-6) to a win at home.

Colby Emmertz was 3 for 3 with an RBI double for Falmouth.

 

CHASE CUSTOM HOMES 10, FAYETTE-STAPLES 0: Jesse Southard threw a three-hitter, and Zach Mills went 3 for 3 with two doubles and two RBI, pacing Chase Custom Homes (10-3) to a five-inning victory against Fayette-Staples (2-9-1) at Gorham.

Chase scored seven times in the fifth inning to end the game.

LACONIA 4, SANFORD 2: Ryan McBroom had a pair of hits and drove in two runs, and Jordan Lee added two hits and scored twice for the Muskrats (12-10), who used a three-run first inning to down the Mainers (11-13) at Sanford.

Sam Balzano and Nate LaPointe paced the Mainers with two hits apiece. Kyle Moore and Connor Castellano each drove in a run.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, SEACOAST SPLIT: Seacoast (11-18) hit three home runs to win the opener 9-2, and Skip Flanagan drove in three runs to lead the Raging Tide (12-14) to an 8-4 victory in the second game at Portsmouth, N.H.

In the opener, Buck McCarthy and Victor Sorrento hit back-to-back homers in the first inning, and Ryan Coppinger hit a three-run blast in the seventh for Seacoast.

Bates College reliever Brad Reynolds pitched seven innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out seven for Seacoast.

In the second game, Flanagan hit a three-run double in the third to put the Raging Tide ahead 7-1.
