MANCHESTER, N.H. — Officials in at least one New Hampshire school district have canceled summer school classes for the day because of hot weather.

The Manchester School District canceled all programs for Wednesday, due to predicted high temperatures.

The National Weather Service says temperatures are expected to reach the mid- to upper 80s in the northern part of the state and the upper 80s to lower 90s in the southern part of New Hampshire. Similar conditions are expected to last throughout the week.
