PORTLAND – The Maine Turnpike Authority reports just after 5 p.m. that a crash on outer Congress Street has been cleared. Traffic was slowed earlier this afternoon after a vehicle overturned near the entrance to the Unum campus about 3:30 p.m.
Two people were injured and taken to Maine Medical Center, city spokeswoman Nicole Clegg said. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, Clegg said.
Police had asked drivers to avoid the area while they cleared the wreckage.
