Three years after her last LPGA win, Creamer shares lead at Marathon Classic

Paula Creamer hasn’t won an LPGA Tour event in the past three years, but used the memories of the times she has triumphed to give her a lift Friday at Sylvanio, Ohio.

Creamer, who won the Marathon Classic five years ago when it was the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic, shares the lead while top-ranked Inbee Park lurks two strokes back after the second round.

Creamer shot a 3-under 68 on Friday on the heels of an opening 66 to pull even with Alison Walshe and Spain’s Beatriz Recari at 8-under 134.
