BRISTOL, Conn. – McKenzie Medders doubled, tripled and knocked in three runs Thursday to lead Robbinsville, N.J., to an 11-0, four-inning victory against Scarborough in the 11-12 Eastern Regional Little League softball tournament.

Medders also was the winning pitcher, striking out four and allowing two hits.

Robbinsville scored its runs in the first three innings, accumulating enough for the mercy-rule win after four innings. Olivia Moser also drove in three runs.

Scarborough was eliminated from the tournament in the quarterfinals and returns home with a 2-3 record in the regional. Kaitlyn Verreault took the loss, allowing 10 hits and striking out three.
