Everett Bertrand, Poland, senior, running back: Bertrand is called the energy of the team by Coach Ted Tibbetts. He will be a key runner and defensive player for the Knights.
Nate Booth, Wells, junior, quarterback: Booth looks to capitalize on the experience he gained from last season and be an integral part of the offense.
Mike Curtis, Wells, junior, tackle: At 6-foot-1, 265 pounds, Curtis is a force at tackle and linebacker for Wells. He will be counted upon to open holes for Moody, Booth and the rest of the backfield.
Chris Czachor, Traip Academy, senior, quarterback: A big and strong quarterback, Czachor will be a pivotal player for the Rangers. He passed for nine touchdowns and 1,200 yards last season.
Tom Feenstra, Cape Elizabeth, senior, tight end: Feenstra will provide a big pass-catching target for the Capers while also handling blocking duties, He continues in the tradition of fine Cape Elizabeth receivers.
Joe Gildard, Old Orchard Beach, senior, running back: Gildard is one of the top running backs in Class C as he possesses speed and power. He scored 11 touchdowns last season and also rushed for 850 yards.
Connor Graffam, Camden Hills, senior, tight end: At 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, Graham provides a great target for the Windjammers’ passing game. He will also be a force at defensive end.
Matt Klepinger, Yarmouth, senior, running back: A versatitle player, Klepinger has breakaway speed and will also factor into the Clippers’ offense as a pass receiver this season.
Ben MacMillan, Freeport, senior, fullback: MacMillan gained 530 yards last season for the Falcons. He’s part of a strong running combination for Freeport.
Jake Moody, Wells, senior, running back: Moody is in his third season as a starter and can play any of the backfield positions. He will be instrumental in how far Wells will be able to go in the playoffs.
Brady Neujahr, Yarmouth, senior, quarterback: Neujahr begins his fourth season as a starter and has been on two state title teams. He passed and ran for a combined 1,000 yards last season and scored six touchdowns.
Joe Nixon, Freeport, senior, running back: Nixon is one of the two top returning runners for the Falcons. He rushed for 600 yards last year.
Bryan Roberts, Old Orchard Beach, junior, quarterback: Roberts will add to the Seagulls’ offense with his passing and running ability. He will be one of the players sharing in the running duties this season for Old Orchard.
Nate Shields-Auble, Yarmouth, senior, tackle: Shields-Auble is being moved to tackle from tight end. At 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, he’s a gifted athlete who might find himself at tight end once again to enhance the passing game for the Clippers.
Quincy Thompson, Lisbon, senior, running back: Thompson ran for more than 1,000 yards last season for the Greyhounds. He is also a pass-catching threat coming out of the backfield.
