Dennis McArdle made a hole-in-one on the sixth hole at Nonesuch River Golf Club on Aug. 21. McArdle used a 7-wood for the 145-yard shot, which was witnessed by Mike Deraspe, Rob Edwards, Rick Hebert, Deb Paquette and Sally Beatty.

Mike Fish of Topsham and George Lamarre of Brunswick each recorded an ace on Sept. 1 at the Country Fareways par-3 course in Bowdoin.

Fish made his hole-in-one on the 58-yard 10th hole during the Dick George Memorial Golf Open. He was in a group with Don Thiboutot, Lionel Thiboutot and John Marley.

Lamarre used a wedge for his shot on the 100-yard ninth hole. It was witnessed by Chuck Kelley, Pat and Rodney Pratt.

Matt Markham of South Portland aced the ninth hole at South Portland Municipal Golf Course on Sept. 1, using a driver. The shot was witnessed by Dave Garret and John Bettencourt.

George Prescott of Old Orchard Beach made a hole-in-one with a driver on the third hole at South Portland Municipal Golf Course on Sept. 4. Tim Monahan and Don Hogan witnessed the shot.

John Lapointe of Scarborough aced the second hole at Nonesuch River Golf Club on Sept. 4. Lapointe used an 8-iron for the 145-yard shot. Witnesses included Deb Lapointe, Sue Small and Bob Small.

Mike Leconte carded an ace on the 113-yard 13th hole at Fox Ridge Golf Club on Sept. 4. Leconte used a sand wedge for the shot, which was seen by Greg Lachance, Steve Plourde and Rod Legere.

Tim Bouchard aced the fourth hole at Toddy Brook Golf Course on Sept. 6. He used an 8-iron for the 151-yard shot, which was witnessed by Dennis McKenna and Casey Walton.

Jon Godbout aced the 15th hole at Biddeford & Saco Country Club on Sept. 6, using an 8-iron for the 130-yard shot. Jim Godbout, Barry MacMillan and Jeff Tardiff witnessed the shot.

Tom Perry made a hole-in-one on the 162-yard fourth hole at Spring Meadows Golf Club on Sept. 7. The shot was witnessed by Len Mulligan, Nate Moulton and Jeff Dyer.
