NORTH BERWICK – Lydia St. Pierre scored in each half and Macy Morrison made five saves Wednesday to lead Marshwood to a 2-0 victory against Noble in an SMAA schoolgirl soccer game.

Shaylee Ashburn stopped seven shots for Noble (0-2) against the Hawks (2-0).

BIDDEFORD 3, WESTBROOK 2: Peyton Janelle scored two goals to lead the Tigers (2-0) over Westbrook (0-2) at Biddeford.

Sophomore Olivia Paquette provided the winner with her first varsity goal midway through the second half. She dribbled past three players and drilled a shot from 18 yards.

Marissa Martel scored both goals for the Blue Blazes.

GORHAM 1, BONNY EAGLE 0: Emily Bragg scored an unassisted goal with 21:55 left in the first half and Gorham (1-1) walked away with a win against the Scots (0-2) when lightning shortened the game by 18 minutes at Standish.

Kelsey Parkin made 15 saves for the Scots. Rene Staples handled four shots for Gorham.

THORNTON ACADEMY 5, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Amanda Arnold had two goals and two assists to lead Thornton Academy (2-0) over the Red Riots (0-2) at South Portland.

Arnold has 52 career goals, topping Jami Ladakakos’ school record of 50, and her 20 career assists also made her No. 1. Ladakakos and Randy Mailman each had 18.

DEERING 3, MASSABESIC 1: Ewa Varney scored twice, helping the Rams (2-0) beat the Mustangs (1-1) at Waterboro.

Alexis Elowitch also had a goal for Deering, which took a 2-0 halftime lead. Hannah Sleight cut the lead to one with 13 minutes left, but Varney scored again with six minutes to play.

MT. ARARAT 2, BRUNSWICK 1: Libby Ouellette and Torri Pelletier scored in the first half, and Mt. Ararat (3-0) held off Brunswick (0-2) at Topsham.

MORSE 2, MARANACOOK 0: Morgan Cram and Miracle Trimble scored second-half goals to lift the Shipbuilders (3-0) over the Black Bears (1-1-1) at Bath.

MCAULEY 2, CHEVERUS 1: Maddie Wade and Summer Bourque scored in the first half to help visiting McAuley (1-1) down Cheverus (0-2) at Portland.

Abby Goodrich scored a late goal for the Stags. Hannah Tyson had 14 saves for Cheverus. Jordyn Carr handled 12 shots for McAuley.

WINDHAM 6, SANFORD 0: Emily Gorrivan and Cassie Symonds scored two goals apiece to lead the Eagles (2-0) past the Spartans (0-2) at Windham.

Ciera Berthiaume added a goal and two assists, and Melissa Morton also scored for Windham.

MARANACOOK 5, MORSE 0: Chris Beckwith sccored two goals to lead the Black Bears (3-0) over Morse (0-3) at Readfield.
