WELLS — Traffic was flowing normally Friday afternoon on the Maine Turnpike after a three-vehicle crash late in the morning closed one lane of southbound traffic in Wells.

There were no reports of injuries, and the crash, which happened around 11 a.m., created no significant traffic delays.

Dan Morin, a spokesman for the Maine Turnpike Authority, said the section of highway where the accident occurred is three lanes wide in both directions, so closing one lane during a time with light traffic did not cause any problems.
