PORTLAND — Firefighters on Thursday doused an all-hands fire at 48 Whitney Ave. between Congress Street and Brighton Avenue.
The fire was reported shortly before 11 a.m. in the third floor of a residential building. Firefighters were able to bring it quickly under control.

There were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.
