• Melissa Knutson joined Key Bank as vice president and SBA relationship manager of business banking for the Maine and Vermont markets.

Prior to joining Key, Knutson was the business banking relationship manager for JPMorgan Chase and Company in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Knutson lives in Brunswick.

• Bobby Donnelly and Paul Roberson were hired at the Rowley Agency Inc. as account executives in its commercial lines department.

Donnelly, of South Portland, previously owned and operated a State Farm Agency in Orono. Roberson, of Londonderry, N.H., previously worked at Acadia Insurance as a regional loss control director for New Hampshire and Vermont.

• Charles P. Collins, Ed.D., was named executive director of Husson University’s Southern Maine campus. Collins, of Portland, has more than 20 years of leadership experience working with Maine community colleges.

In his new role, Collins will be the primary administrator for all academic programs and operations at Husson University’s Southern Maine campus.

• Meredith Rousseau was promoted to senior vice president, Basel program director at TD Bank in South Portland

Rousseau, of Falmouth, has 15 years of program and project management experience and four years of banking experience, focused on risk management, Basel and regulatory compliance.

She joined TD Bank in 2009.

• WEX Inc., a leading provider of corporate payment solutions, was honored with the 2013 Henri A. Benoit Award for Leadership in the Private Sector.

The firm was recognized at the Portland Regional Chamber’s 159th Annual Community Leadership Awards event at the State Theatre in Portland. Also sharing in this award are the Portland Press Herald, Quirk Chevrolet and the Maine Red Claws.

RETIRING

• Joan M. McDonald, longtime chief executive officer of the Girl Scouts of Maine, announced she is retiring in November.

McDonald has been involved with Girl Scouting for more than 30 years. She has led the Girl Scouts in Maine since 1992 when she took the role of CEO for Kennebec Council. Previously, McDonald served as CEO for Girl Scouts of Joshua Tree in California.
