Retirees Information Session, 6 p.m. Thursday, offered by the Maine National Guard for military personnel nearing retirement or age 60. The session is free and spouses are welcome. It takes place at Clarion Hotel, 1230 Congress St., Portland.
Shannon Kunz has graduated from Marine Corps basic training. She is the daughter of Kevin and Shelly Kunz of North Berwick and is a 2013 graduate of Seacoast Christian Academy, South Berwick.
Army National Guard Pvt. Colby D. Adams has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Paul Adams of Shapleigh and is a 2011 graduate of Massabesic High School, Waterboro.
Air Force Airman Cody R. Dyer graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Dyer is the son of Dolores and Randall Dyer of Hollis Center and is a 2012 graduate of Bonny Eagle High School, Standish.
