The 163rd Fryeburg Fair kicked off Sunday, showcasing more than 3,000 animals and the usual fair offerings: harness racing, pig scrambles, exhibition halls, rides and the best woodsmen from around the country.
The event typically draws about 200,000 people a year. Tickets to the fair are $10 for adults. Kids under age 12 are free.
