SANBORNTON, N.H. — A New Hampshire man is accused of shooting a pellet gun at two school buses with children on board.

Police arrested 24-year-old Tarance Piper of Sanbornton on Thursday. They said he told them one of the students on the bus made an obscene gesture toward him. Piper was in the back seat of a car that was next to the bus.

WMUR-TV reports pellets dented the sides of the buses but did not break any windows or cause injuries. The bus drivers radioed for help and pulled into the police station as the pellet gun shootings happened. The students were from Winnisquam Regional High School.

Piper was charged with two counts of criminal threatening.
