FREEPORT – Cat Johnson and Ella Millard scored from scrambles following corner kicks Tuesday, helping Waynflete to a 2-0 victory against Freeport in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl soccer game.

Juliana Harwood had 10 saves for the Flyers (7-1-1). Livy Dimick made 13 saves for Freeport (7-4).

BRUNSWICK 2, OXFORD HILLS 0: Kira Wolpow and Julia Champagne scored for the Dragons (6-3) against Oxford Hills (3-3-2) at Brunswick.

Haley Murano secured the shutout with eight saves. Sam Bickford also stopped eight shots for Oxford Hills.

HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 7, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 0: Reagan Paul scored five goals to lead Highview Christian (4-2) over Greater Portland Christian (0-7) at Charleston.

Michaela Hill added two goals and Jenn Kepple earned a shutout with six saves.

MT. ARARAT 3, LEWISTON 0: Nikki Bradstreet, Christine Levesque and Katie Labbay scored, and Kate Guerin earned the shutout as the Eagles (9-1) downed the Blue Devils (0-8-1) at Topsham.

BIDDEFORD 2, NOBLE 0: Cassie Ellis scored on a header off a corner kick three minutes into the game and added a goal in the second half to lead the Tigers (7-2-1) over the Knights (0-9-1) at North Berwick.

Anna Marie Seiler finished with seven saves to earn the shutout. Shaylee Ashburn stopped six shots for Noble.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2, LAKE REGION 1: Abby Dubois scored on a penalty kick with one minute left in overtime as the Seagulls (1-8) beat Lake Region (0-8-1) at Old Orchard Beach.

The penalty kick was a result of an intentional handball to save a goal.

Old Orchard took the lead when Carissa Erickson scored off a cross from Dubois midway through the first half. Lake Region tied it midway through the second on a Megan Boos goal.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 4, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Sarah Giggey broke a 1-1 tie with 6:38 remaining and the Patriots (5-5) pulled away from Sacopee Valley (3-6) at Gray.

Julie Martell put Gray-New Gloucester ahead 1-0 with the only goal of the first half, but Jade Jordan countered for the Hawks with 12 minutes left in the game. Ashley Morneau and Martell added goals in the final four minutes.

Zoe Adams had seven saves for Gray-New Gloucester and Madison Day six for Sacopee.

POLAND 3, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 1: Emily Bolduc scored the first goal and assisted on the second as the Knights (5-5) opened a 3-0 halftime lead against North Yarmouth Academy (4-4-2) at Poland.

Sarah Bolduc and Sarah Walton also scored, and Courtney Cunliffe and Maddy Simard had assists for the Knights. Anna Laprise had a second-half goal for the Panthers.

Erin Brewer made six saves for Poland and Sonia Lin 11 for NYA.

GREELY 0, YORK 0: Emma Rohrer of the Wildcats (4-4-3) and Elyse Dinan of Greely (8-2-1) made 10 saves apiece at York.

FIELD HOCKEY

CHEVERUS 1, SANFORD 0: Emily Michaud scored out of a scramble with 4:41 left in the second overtime to lift Cheverus (10-2) over Sanford (4-7) at Portland.

Libby Des Ruisseaux made 16 saves for the shutout. Sarah Goldthwaite finished with 21 stops for Sanford.

THORNTON ACADEMY 5, BIDDEFORD 0: Morgan Dube had a goal and an assist for the Trojans (9-3), who scored four goals in the final 25 minutes to pull away from the Tigers (7-5) at Biddeford.

Lauren Russell, Libby Pomerleau, Jackie Parent and Katie Barden also scored for the Trojans, who recorded their ninth shutout of the season.

Mackenzie Hevey finished with 18 saves for Biddeford.

GORHAM 3, NOBLE 0: Darcie Brown and Charlotte Smith scored in the opening minutes for the Rams (6-5-1) against the Knights (1-11) at Gorham.

Julia Donley added a goal late in the first half and Delaney Shiers collected one assist.

Bridgette Hills finished with 19 saves for Noble. Megan Baker stopped one shot for the Rams.

SCARBOROUGH 13, MCAULEY 0: Maggie Carbin, Kristin Murray and Sarah Huber scored two goals apiece to lead Scarborough (12-0) over McAuley (0-12) at Portland.

Aketch Alloading of McAuley faced 49 shots and had 36 saves.

WESTBROOK 3, WINDHAM 2: Micaela LeBeau scored twice and Abby St. Clair added a goal and an assist to lead the Blue Blazes (7-5) over the Eagles (4-8) at Westbrook.

Katrina Cogswell scored for Windham to make it 1-1 midway through the first half and Morgan Richmond added a goal for the Eagles with seven minutes left.

MT. ARARAT 4, LEWISTON 1: Carly Raymond scored two goals and assisted on two others for the Eagles (6-7), who scored three unanswered second-half goals against the Blue Devils (2-10) at Topsham.

Kristen Pierce and Caitlin LaFountain added one goal apiece for Mt. Ararat.

GARDINER 12, LINCOLN ACADEMY 0: Ellen Kelley had four goals as the Tigers (8-3) cruised past Lincoln Academy (0-12) at Newcastle.

Nickyia Lovely had two goals and an assist, Lily Chepke chipped in with a pair of goals and Claire Crocker had two goals and an assist.

Camden Cone and Nicole Chadwick each had one goal, Grace Kelley had three assists and Abby Dunn added two. Emily Malinowski, Maddy Beaulieu and Abby Dyer each added one assist, and the Tigers outshot the Eagles, 41-0.

Andrea Coll had 29 saves for Lincoln.

MT. VIEW 1, BELFAST 0: Reanna Boulay scored with 13:20 left to lift the Mustangs (8-4) over the Lions (7-5) at Thorndike. Allyson Clary assisted on the goal. Dinah Bilodeau made four saves to earn the shutout.

VOLLEYBALLBIDDEFORD 3, CHEVERUS 1: Sam Daigle and Delani Roy served eight aces apiece, leading Biddeford (6-4) past the Stags (5-5) in Portland, 25-22, 25-14, 21-25 and 25-8.

SCARBOROUGH 3, FALMOUTH 2: Mary Cleary had 13 kills, 14 digs and two blocks for the Red Storm (10-0), who won the fifth set 18-16 to edge the Yachtsmen (9-1) at Falmouth.

Abby Mills added 12 kills, six digs and two blocks for Scarborough.
