SOUTH BERWICK — Brady Levesque scored three goals Tuesday to lead Cheverus to a 5-0 victory against Noble in a game between two of the top schoolboy soccer teams in the SMAA.

Levesque opened the scoring 10 minutes into the match. Felix DelVecchio skipped a diagonal pass to Levesque outside the box for a 14-yarder and a 1-0 lead. Mackenzie Hoglund scored from Isaac Yeboah midway through the half, and Nate Smith scored 14:30 into the second half before Levesque put the game away with his final two goals.

Hoglund and Jacob Dixon also had assists.

Charlie Mull had six saves for the Stags (9-2-1). Drew Martin made 12 saves for Noble (9-2-1).

 

MARSHWOOD 4, BIDDEFORD 1: Hansen Casey scored two goals to lead the Hawks (1-9-3) past the Tigers (0-11-1) at South Berwick.

Devon Gilbert and Tobi Smith also scored for Marshwood.

 

MEDOMAK VALLEY 2, MT. VIEW 1: Zidane McMurrin scored both goals for the Panthers (6-8-1), including a second-half winner, against the Mustangs (4-6-1) at Thorndike.

After Vittorio Frascolino gave Mt. View a 1-0 lead in the first half, McMurrin tied it four minutes later.

 

PORTLAND 5, WESTBROOK 0: Charlie Gauvin scored after five minutes and Portland (8-2-2) went on to down the Blue Blazes (4-7-2) at Westbrook.

Stephen Barry and Ibrahim Dahir increased the lead to 3-0 at the half. Sam Farr then converted a penalty kick before Erick Molina completed the scoring.

Bobby Brittingham had six saves for Portland and Austin Blake four for Westbrook.
