OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Alex Wahlstrom gathered a loose ball at the 18-yard line and lofted a shot into the corner with 30 seconds left in the second overtime, lifting North Yarmouth Academy to a 2-1 win over Old Orchard Beach in a Western Maine Conference girls’ soccer match Monday.

Wahlstrom converted a penalty kick to tie the game for NYA (5-4-2) with 20 minutes left in regulation. Vikki Niedzwiecki, assisted by Abby Dubois, put OOB (1-10) ahead early in the second half.

CAPE ELIZABETH 3, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Kathryn Clark scored two goals and then assisted on Mariah Deschino’s goal as the Capers (10-2-1) scored three times in the second half to beat the Raiders (3-6-2) in Cape Elizabeth.

WAYNFLETE 2, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Beata Vest put in a rebound of a shot taken by Ella Millard with three minutes remaining as the Flyers (8-1-2) edged the Hawks (5-7) at Portland.

Millard also set up Cat Johnson’s goal midway through the first half.

Kayla Brown scored for the Hawks.

WINDHAM 8, NOBLE 0: Jenna Soucy scored three times and Ciera Berthiaume had a goal and an assist to lead the Eagles (11-0) over the Knights (0-11-1) at Windham.

Cassie Symonds, Luisa Sbardella, Jordan Sargent and Katie Herzig also scored.

PINE TREE ACADEMY 1, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 0: Megan Hodson notched the only goal as the Breakers (7-2) edged the Lions (0-8) at South Portland.

CAPE ELIZABETH 2, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Eli Breed’s blast from 40 yards with 10 minutes left lifted the visiting Capers (3-5-4) over the Raiders (3-6-2) at Fryeburg.

Noah Haversat scored in the first half for the Capers. Gabe Perry answered in the second half.

SCARBOROUGH 6, BIDDEFORD 0: Wyatt Omsberg had two goals and had an assist to lead the Red Storm (10-1) past the Tigers (0-10-1) at Biddeford.

Josh Morrissey, Matt Caron, Sam Cekada and Mack Ornstein also scored.

PINE TREE ACADEMY 4, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 0: Kenny Sweetser scored twice, and Andrew Goorhuis and Ezra Kruzich added a goal apiece as the Breakers (10-1) beat the Lions (8-4-1) in South Portland.

LAKE REGION 2, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Lucy Fowler scored twice as the Lakers (10-4) beat the Patriots (0-14) in Gray.

Mackenzie Mondville also scored.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3, GREELY 1: Emily Davidson and Sydney Andreoli scored in the second half as the Raiders (5-7-1) downed the Rangers (4-8-1) at Fryeburg.

Mackenzie Hill scored in the first half for Fryeburg. Kathryn Bower scored for Greely.

SOUTH PORTLAND 10, MCAULEY 0: Kristina Salafia, Lydia Henderson and Hailey Mullen each scored twice as the Red Riots (3-9-1) handled the Lions (0-12) at South Portland.
