NEW LONDON, Conn. — Rachel Kennedy had two goals and an assist, Katie Riley added a goal and an assist and Bowdoin recorded its ninth straight field hockey win, beating Connecticut College 4-0 in a New England Small College Athletic Conference field hockey game Saturday.
Olivia King also scored, and Hannah Gartner made two saves for the shutout as Bow- doin improved to 11-1 overall, 7-1 in NESCAC.
MAINE 5, FAIRFIELD 1: Danielle Aviani scored a pair of goals and Marissa Shaw collected three assists as the Black Bears (9-6, 2-2 America East) scored four times in the first half and cruised past the Stags (9-4, 1-1) at Fairfield, Conn.
Holly Stewart added a goal and an assist. Abbey Gutowski and Cassidy Svetek also scored.
UNE 4, WESTERN NEW ENGLAND 0: Hayley LaPointe scored two goals in the second half, helping the Nor’easters (10-5, 9-0 Commonwealth Coast) beat the Golden Bears (2-13, 1-8) at Springfield, Mass.
Casey Clark had a goal and an assist, and Hannah Plourde also scored.
SOUTHERN MAINE 2, FRAMINGHAM STATE 0: Peyton Dostie scored on a give-and-go with Ariel Kaplan just 1:11 into the game and Michaela Demers added a second-half goal as the Huskies (6-10, 3-5 Little East) downed the Rams (8-6, 2-6) at Gorham.
MIDDLEBURY 4, BATES 2: Catherine Fowler collected two goals and an assist to lead the Panthers (11-2, 7-2 NESCAC) over the Bobcats (4-8, 1-7) at Lewiston.
Lexie Carter and Caroline Falcone scored for the Bobcats.
COLBY 3, HAMILTON 0: Erin Maguire scored a pair of goals six minute apart midway through the first half as the Mules (7-4, 4-4 NESCAC) clinched their first conference tournament berth since 2008 with a win over the Continentals (3-8, 1-7) at Clinton, N.Y.
Colby closed out the scoring with 11:30 left on a goal by Megan Fortier.
BOWDOIN 2, CONNECTICUT COLLEGE 1: Molly Popolizio scored the go-ahead goal on a cross from Kaley Nelson less than three minutes after the Camels (3-5-3, 1-4-2 NESCAC) had tied the game to lift the Polar Bears (9-2-1, 5-2-1) to a win at New London, Conn.
Bowdoin took the lead 12:59 into the game when Kiersten Turner scored on an assist from Becky Stoneman.
Popolizio’s winner was scored with 26:09 left.
ST. JOSEPH’S 1, SIMMONS 0: Danielle Daigle tipped in a free kick from Lauren Chouinard with 2:40 left in the second overtime to lift the Monks (13-2, 8-1 GNAC) over the Sharks (6-9, 3-6) at Boston.
Jaci Lorenzen stopped 28 shots for the Monks en route to her eighth shutout of the year.
COLBY 0, HAMILTON 0: Emily Brock finished with nine saves, including two in overtime, for the Mules (4-5-2, 1-5-2 NESCAC) as they played to a scoreless draw against the Continentals (3-4-3, 1-4-3) at Clinton, N.Y.
MIDDLEBURY 1, BATES 0: Julia Favorito scored in the 53rd minute and the 14th-ranked Panthers (9-1-2, 7-1 NESCAC) held on to edge the Bobcats (3-7-1, 1-6-1) at Lewiston.
WESTERN CONNECTICUT 2, SOUTHERN MAINE 1: Ariana D’Aurio scored the go-ahead goal in the 71st minute as the Colonials (10-6, 4-1 Little East) scored twice during a seven-minute span to rally past the Huskies (4-10-1, 1-4) at Gorham.
USM got on the board in the 59th minute when Shannon Brozyna knocked in the rebound of her own shot.

BOWDOIN 2, CONNECTICUT COLLEGE 1: Cedric Charlier collected his second straight game-winning goal when he headed in a cross from Connor Keefe with 19:50 left in regulation as the Polar Bears (6-2-3, 4-2-2 NESCAC) edged the Camels (7-3-2, 3-3-3) at New London, Conn.
Andrew Jones opened the scoring for Bowdoin in the 52nd minute, chipping in a shot following a long cross from Hunter Miller. The Camels tied the game six minutes later.
WESTERN CONNECTICUT STATE 1, SOUTHERN MAINE 0: Vigan Pacuku scored with 49 seconds left in regulation to lift the Colonials (3-10-2, 1-2-2 Little East) to a win over the Huskies (0-15-1, 0-5) at Danbury, Conn.
MIDDLEBURY 2, BATES 1: Bates (4-6-2, 0-6-2 NESCAC) cut a two-goal deficit in half when Tyler Grees scored on an assist from Peabo Knoth in the 64th minute, but the Panthers (6-3-1, 5-3-1) held on for a win at Lewiston.
