PETERBOROUGH, N.H. — School officials in Peterborough, N.H., say a student brought a loaded gun to his social studies class at ConVal High School.

School administrators and the police were notified immediately Wednesday afternoon.

Police Chief Scott Guinard tells WMUR-TV the weapon was never displayed. He said police isolated the student and confronted him.

Guinard said the student cooperated and police seized the handgun.

No one was hurt.

School officials say the student faces possible expulsion.
