TRACY, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol says two drivers suffered minor to moderate injuries after high winds knocked over six big rigs on a stretch of Northern California highway.

The crashes on Interstate 580 around the San Joaquin County city of Tracy began around 6 p.m. Sunday and continued until about 5 a.m. Monday.

KGO-TV reports wind also knocked the facade off a Forever 21 store in the San Francisco Bay Area city of Emeryville. No one was hurt, but two vehicles were damaged.

The National Weather Service warns of high winds through midday, with gusts of up to 35 mph possible along the coast and at higher elevations.

In southern Nevada’s Clark County, officials have issued a dust advisory and high-wind warning until evening.

Gusts are predicted to reach 80 mph Monday in the Spring Mountains and Red Rock Canyon, and 60 mph in western parts of the Las Vegas valley.
