BANGOR — Utility crews are continuing to restore power to Maine customers whose service was knocked out during high winds.

The winds brought down power lines and tree limbs starting on Friday morning across the Bangor Hydro service area. More than 4,000 customers lost service.

Crews worked through the night and expect to have all service stored by Saturday evening.
