The students and faculty of the JMG class at Sanford High will hold a free five-week Young Athletes Program from 8 to 9 a.m. Mondays starting Nov. 18 to introduce young children to Special Olympics through play. The developmentally appropriate program is aimed at children ages 2 1/2 to 8 with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities or autism, and their similar-aged siblings and friends. The annual Camden Hills High ski team sale will be held at the Camden Snow Bowl on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is an opportunity to buy or sell used ski and snowboard equipment. If you are interested in selling equipment you must preregister at https://sites.google.com/site/chrhsskisale and items must then be brought Friday to the Snow Bowl from 3-8 p.m. You set the price for your items and keep 75 percent of the proceeds with 25 percent going to the ski team.
