FALMOUTH — Maddy McDonnell had a goal and two assists Saturday to lead Falmouth to a 5-0 victory against Gorham/Bonny Eagle in a schoolgirl hockey game at Family Ice.

Martina St. Angelo opened the scoring for Falmouth (4-2) 1:08 into the game from Lucy Meyer. Evie Clement added to the lead with 1:05 left in the opening period.

Sarah Hutcheon and Camden Carrier added goals during a 19-second span late in the second period and McDonnell closed the scoring midway through the third.

Ally Hurdman stopped all eight shots she faced for Falmouth. Maddy Hamblen finished with 21 saves for Gorham/Bonny Eagle (3-5).

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 45, RICHMOND 42: Isaac LaCroix scored five of the nine points for Seacoast Christian (4-1) in overtime against Richmond (3-3) at South Berwick.

Logan Archer scored a game-high 20 points and LaCroix finished with 14 to pace Seacoast, which rallied from a 21-12 halftime deficit.

CAPE ELIZABETH 47, KENNEBUNK 44: Jack O’Rourke hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to break a 44-44-tie and lift the Capers (5-1) over the Rams (1-5) at Cape Elizabeth.

O’Rourke finished with 17 points and Eddie Galvin added 11 for Cape Elizabeth.

WINDHAM 72, SCARBOROUGH 63: Spencer Hodge scored 15 points, and Kevin Weisser added 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Eagles (4-3) downed the Red Storm (3-3) at Portland.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

CAPE ELIZABETH 46, KENNEBUNK 29: Hannah Sawyer scored 10 of her game-high 21 points in the third quarter as the Capers (4-2) opened the second half with a 17-4 run to pull away from the Rams (0-6) at Kennebunk.

Mary Perkins added seven points for the Capers, who led 18-17 at halftime.

BOYS’ HOCKEY

CAMDEN HILLS 3, GARDINER 0: Grayson Szumilas collected one goal and two assists to lead the Windjammers (4-0-1) over the Tigers (0-5) at Hallowell.
