Serge Nyirikamba scored 15 of his 17 points in the first half Saturday, helping Waynflete open a commanding lead on the way to a 64-36 victory against Wells in a Western Maine Conference schoolboy basketball game.

The Flyers (6-0) cruised after taking a 37-16 lead against the Warriors (2-5).

Milo Belleau added 13 points, Harry Baker-Connick 11 and Abel Alemayo 10 for Waynflete.

Chris Carney and Jake Moody each scored 13 for Wells. Moody has 999 career points.

BONNY EAGLE 68, THORNTON ACADEMY 61: Dustin Cole finished with 26 points to lead the Scots (8-0) past the Trojans (2-4) at Saco.

Quinn Richardson-Newton led Thornton Academy with 16 points. Kevin Barrett added 15 and Corey Hart 14.

DEERING 71, MARSHWOOD 52: Ahmed Ali and Patrick Lobor scored 18 points each, and Liam Densmore added 16 to power Deering (6-2) past the Hawks (2-4) at South Berwick.

Ahmed Ismail Ahmed added 10 for the Rams. Jack Letellier scored 15 and Ryan O’Neil 10 for Marshwood.

MESSALONSKEE 53, LEWISTON 40: Nick Mayo scored 12 points and had 18 rebounds to lead the Eagles to a win over the Blue Devils in Oakland.

BOOTHBAY REGION 76, MT. ABRAM 34: Arthur Ryan scored 11 points for the Roadrunners (1-6) in a loss to the Seahawks (5-1) at Salem.

FALMOUTH 71, CAPE ELIZABETH 49: Thomas Coyne scored 12 points in the second quarter to help the Yachtsmen (6-1) open a 37-18 halftime lead against Cape Elizabeth (5-2) at Falmouth.

Coyne finished with 22 points, as did Nick Burton, who also had 14 rebounds. Jack Simonds added 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Eddie Galvin scored 14 points, Bryce Hewitt 12 and Justin Guerette 11 for the Capers.

MT. ARARAT 50, SKOWHEGAN 30: Mason Griffin finished with 24 points and Shyheim Ulrickson added 11 to lead the Eagles (4-4) past the Indians (0-6) at Topsham.

WISCASSET 78, OAK HILL 63: Dale Peaslee scored 20 points, Travis Padilla had 19 points, five rebounds and seven assists, and the Wolverines (5-2) pulled away from the Raiders (3-4) in the second half at Wiscasset.

MARANACOOK 69, MORSE 53: Taylor Wilbur finished with 38 points, including seven 3-pointers, and Kent Mohlar added 14 to lead the Black Bears (6-2) past the Shipbuilders (7-1) at Bath.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 59, PINE TREE ACADEMY 26: Chase Gendron scored 22 of his game-high 28 points in the first half as the Panthers (4-2) handled the Breakers (2-5) at Yarmouth.

Gendron, who also had seven rebounds, scored 11 in each quarter while helping his team to a 35-11 halftime lead.

YORK 72, TRAIP ACADEMY 26: Michael Gallagher had 11 points to lead 12 players for the Wildcats (5-2) with at least a basket against the Rangers (2-4) at York.

Kevin McKenna and Adam Legg each had eight points, and Daniel Bock, Nicholas Darby, Zach Gauthier and Mark McLashing followed with six apiece.

NOBLE 68, WESTBROOK 45: Brady Dodge scored 23 points and Sean Jackson added 17 as the Knights (3-4) cruised past the Blue Blazes (2-7) at Westbrook.

Jackson scored nine in the first quarter when Noble took a 20-6 lead. Grayson Waterman added 15 points for the Knights.

CAMDEN HILLS 62, MEDOMAK VALLEY 60: Colin Morse finished with 22 points and Chandler Crans added 19 as the Windjammers (6-2) edged the Panthers (4-3) at Waldoboro.

HYDE 61, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 28: Evander Lenardson scored six of his 13 points in the first quarter to help Hyde (4-0) to a 15-4 lead against the Guardians (4-2) at Eliot.

Akim Sanni led the Phoenix with 18 points. Isaac LaCroix scored 16 and Logan Archer 10 for Seacoast Christian.

SOUTH PORTLAND 48, MASSABESIC 31: Jack Fiorini had 21 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Red Riots (3-5) over the Mustangs (2-4) at Waterboro.

After trailing 12-11 after a quarter, South Portland went ahead 24-20 in the second with help from three 3-pointers by Patrick Conley.

YARMOUTH 73, FREEPORT 32: David Murphy scored eight of his 20 points in the first quarter, leading Yarmouth (4-2) to a 15-8 lead against the Falcons (0-8) at Freeport.

The Clippers increased the lead to 42-18 at halftime.

MARSHWOOD/TRAIP ACADEMY 6, BONNY EAGLE 0: Joe Cohn had three goals and an assist to lead Marshwood/Traip Academy (2-4) past Bonny Eagle (1-5) at Dover, N.H.

Joe Burns, Troy Stevens and Nick Barrett each chipped in with a goal and an assist.

CHEVERUS 1, FALMOUTH 0: Nick Noyes took a pass from Conor Ryle and slipped it past goalie Dane Pauls 9:23 into the second period as the Stags (5-2) beat the Yachtsmen (5-3) at Falmouth.

Jason Blier made 41 saves for the Stags. Pauls blocked 25 shots.

CONY 4, MT. ARARAT 0: Austin Davis had a goal and two assists to lead the Rams (5-2) past the Eagles (4-3) at Augusta.

SCARBOROUGH 2, BIDDEFORD 2: Nik Lemieux scored both goals for the Tigers (2-2-1) from Ricky Ruck at Biddeford.

Corey Brown also assisted on Lemieux’s second goal.

Cam Brochu scored from Matt Henderson in the first period and Matt Caron got the second goal from Sean McGovern and Jack Callahan in the second period for Scarborough (6-1-1).

CAMDEN HILLS 7, CAPE ELIZABETH 6: Simon Lydon scored 3:06 into overtime as the Windjammers (5-0-1) edged the Capers (0-5-1) at Portland.

Lydon also set up the tying goal by Grayson Szumilas, who tapped in a deflected shot with seven seconds remaining in regulation.

YARMOUTH 9, YORK 3: Isaac Dearden had three goals and an assist, Bobby Murray had two goals and two assists and the Clippers (3-1-1) breezed past the Wildcats (1-4) at Dover, N.H.

Max Watson added a goal and two assists for Yarmouth.
