Katie Bell was hired as production manager of the Portland based branding company Pulp+Wire.

Bell has written and designed for publications in Portland, New England and London. She most recently worked as production artist and journalist at Current Publishing in Westbrook.

Matthew Stein became a partner of Pierce Atwood LLP.

Stein, of North Yarmouth, joined the firm as an associate in its Intellectual Property & Technology practice group in 2006.

Briggs, of Camden, is a board-certified civil trial lawyer and member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He had an extensive experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death litigation.

Specialty Solutions announced Casco Bay Surgery as the newest member of the organization.

Specialty Solutions is an association of independent physician practices formed in 2011 by Spectrum Medical Group OA, Centers for Orthopaedics, Chest Medicine Associates and Portland Gastroenterology Center to promote strong, independent specialty physician practices.
