Katie Bell was hired as production manager of the Portland based branding company Pulp+Wire.
Bell has written and designed for publications in Portland, New England and London. She most recently worked as production artist and journalist at Current Publishing in Westbrook.
Matthew Stein became a partner of Pierce Atwood LLP.
Stein, of North Yarmouth, joined the firm as an associate in its Intellectual Property & Technology practice group in 2006.
He practices in the firm’s Portland office and focuses his practice on three areas: structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements relating to information technology, intellectual property and big data; trademark protection and prosecution; and privacy and data security.
