John Morgan scored 16 points and Evyn Nolette added 15, including three 3-pointers, to lift Sanford to a 52-45 victory over Deering in an SMAA boys’ basketball game Tuesday night.

Jordan Tranchemontange chipped in 13 points for Sanford (8-4), which led throughout, pulling away late in the fourth quarter after Deering climbed within two points.

Ahmed Ali and Jason Thach scored nine points apiece to pace Deering (8-5).

BONNY EAGLE 83, MASSABESIC 47: Ben Malloy had 20 points and 10 rebounds, Dustin Cole had 18 points and 10 assists, and the Scots (13-1) rolled past the visiting Mustangs (3-9).

YARMOUTH 57, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 55: Adam LaBrie made a 3-pointer that gave the Clippers (9-4) a one-point lead with a little over a minute left, and they held on to edge the Raiders (7-5) at Fryeburg.

The Clippers were led by Jordan Brown with 19 points, including five 3-pointers, and LaBrie finished with 13 points.

Alexander Blake scored a game-high 22 points for Fryeburg, which trailed by seven going into the fourth quarter.

WAYNFLETE 89, BUCKFIELD 24: Serge Nyirikamba scored 24 points, reserve Joseph Schnier had 17 and the Flyers (10-2) blew past the Bucks (3-9) at Portland.

Harry Baker-Connick and Milo Belleau added 11 apiece for Waynflete, which put the game out of reach with a 40-6 third-quarter run.

FOREST HILLS 59, PINE TREE ACADEMY 35: Tanner Daigle had 17 points as the Tigers (13-1) beat the Breakers (4-0) in Freeport.

Brandon Ouellette had 12 points for Forest Hills.

Chris Wilday had 12 points and J.P. Tashamala 10 for Pine Tree.

MORSE 52, MEDOMAK VALLEY 49: Liam McDonough made a 3-pointer with 3.5 seconds left to lift the Shipbuilders (11-3) over the Panthers (6-6) at Waldoboro.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 65, A.R. GOULD 36: Logan Archer scored a game-high 22 points as the Guardians (7-4) beat the Bears (0-11) at South Berwick.

Isaac LaCroix added 13 points for Seacoast, which outscored A.R. Gould 22-3 in the third quarter.

The Bears were led by Adam Fakhareldin with 15 points.
