Heather Steeves was hired as an online content producer for MaineToday.com.

A graduate of the University of Maine, Steeves has worked as a reporter for the Bangor Daily News and for The Oregonian. At Mainetoday.com, she will play a key role in keeping the site populated with fresh and engaging content.

Stephen Henderson has joined ecomaine as recycling operations manager.

Henderson has more than a decade of experience in recycling and facilities operations, most recently as the operations manager at the Maine Apple Co.

Vince Ciampi and Brian Berube joined CBRE | The Boulos Co. as new associates.

Ciampi most recently worked for Tidesmart Global in Falmouth and lives in Scarborough.

Berube, of Lewiston, was previously a professional land surveyor with Nadeau Land Surveys and CES Engineering.

PROMOTIONS

Norway Savings Bank has promoted Kyle Hodgkins to assistant vice president and branch manager of its Exchange Street office in Portland.

Hodgkins joined Norway Savings in 2007 and has worked in all areas of branch banking. He is active in the Portland community, where he is involved with the Greater Portland Board of Realtors, the Greater Portland Chamber of Commerce and PROPEL.

Brian Shibles was also promoted to executive vice president and treasurer at Norway Savings.

Shibles was hired in 2002 as the vice president of finance. In 2006, he was promoted to vice president and chief financial officer and in 2009 he was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Ronald W. Schneider Jr. and Matt Tarasevich were named co-chairs of Bernstein Shur’s labor and employment practice group.

Schneider is a shareholder and a member of the labor and employment practice group, health care group and litigation group. His practice consists of all aspects of employment law. He lives in Wells.

Tarasevich is a shareholder and a member of the labor and employment practice group, municipal and regulatory practice group and litigation group. He provides employment law representation for clients in the Maine state and federal courts, as well as at the administrative agency level. He lives in Portland.

Mattaeus Schkrioba of Windham, sous chef at the Portland Marriott at Sable Oaks in South Portland, earned the Certified Executive Chef designation from the American Culinary Federation Inc.

Schkrioba, 26, formally of Bar Harbor Resorts and The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, N.Y., is the chef of the Fire and Water Restaurant at the Portland Marriott.

GENERAL

Michael Cunningham, a former principal of SMRT Inc., a Portland architecture and engineering firm, has purchased Lincoln/Haney Engineering Associates Inc., a Brunswick structural engineering firm.

Cunningham has more than 35 years of experience in the design and management of structural engineering projects. Lincoln/Haney Engineering has been providing engineering services throughout northern New England for 30 years.
