YARMOUTH — El Tayeb Dahia scored 28 points and hit three free throws in the second overtime as North Yarmouth Academy edged Seacoast Christian 87-85 on Friday night on the final night of the boys’ basketball regular season.

Dahia also had eight rebounds and eight steals. Chase Gendron added 22 points for NYA (13-5).

Seacoast Christian (10-8) was led by Logan Archer with 29 points and Isaac LaCroix with 26.

WAYNFLETE 70, HYDE 47: Serge Nyirikamba scored 28 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Flyers (15-2) past the Phoenix (16-2) at Portland.

Joe Schnier got eight of his 10 points in the second quarter as Waynflete outscored Hyde 21-9 to open a 35-19 lead.

Harry Baker-Connick had 10 points and eight assists, while Harry Cleaves chipped in with 11 points.

Akim Sanni led Hyde with 19 points.

LAKE REGION 65, YORK 51: Mark Williams finished with 22 points to lead the Lakers (9-9) past the Wildcats (9-9) at York.

Marcus DeVoe added 13 points and Jackson Lesure scored 10.

Michael Gallagher paced York with 16 points.

YARMOUTH 74, FREEPORT 48: David Murphy scored 19 points and the Clippers (14-4) made 12 3-pointers against the visiting Falcons (2-16).

Nate Shields-Auble added 14 points and Adam LaBrie finished with 13 for the Clippers.

Jack Davenport had 19 points and Chandler Birmingham contributed 12 points for Freeport.

POLAND 68, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 58: Alan Young scored 23 points to lead the Knights (10-8) over the Patriots (3-15) at Gray.

Andreas Kariotis led Gray-New Gloucester with 15 points.

BONNY EAGLE 101, WINDHAM 52: Dustin Cole finished with 39 points, 10 assists, 10 steals and seven rebounds as the Scots (17-1) beat the Eagles (6-12) at Standish.

Ben Malloy added 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Ryan Gorman led Windham with 15 points.

CHEVERUS 59, SOUTH PORTLAND 34: Zordan Holman and Manny Ismail scored 14 points apiece to pace the Stags (9-9) at South Portland (6-12).

Austin Boudreau added 12 points for Cheverus, which led 30-12 at halftime.

Jaren Muller scored 11 points for the Red Riots.

WESTBROOK 65, GORHAM 50: Aquoi Alexander scored 16 points, Demetrious Hoskins added 14 and the Blue Blazes (5-13) rode a strong defensive first half to a win at Gorham (8-10).

Sam Kilborn scored 11 points for the Rams, who trailed 24-9 at halftime.

MARSHWOOD 67, NOBLE 54: Drew Bartlett scored 23 points, including five 3-pointers, as the Hawks (7-11) handled the Knights (10-8) at South Berwick.

Brady Innes got seven of his 15 points in the second quarter, when the Hawks outscored Noble 24-15 for a 38-24 lead.

Sean Jackson finished with 16 points and Brady Dodge added 14 for Noble.

HOCKEY

YORK 6, MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 0: Derek Neal scored all six goals as the Wildcats (5-8) beat Maranacook/Winthrop (5-8) at Dover, N.H.

Neal, who also had five goals Thursday night in a 6-2 win over Leavitt, scored twice on power plays and twice while short-handed, giving him five short-handed goals in the last two games.

Jimmy Orso and Nick Walsh each finished with three assists, and Adam Jannetti had two assists.

Eric Lindbom stopped 30 shots for the shutout. Joshua Ehiorobo made 27 saves for Maranacook/Winthrop.
