Join Merrymeeting Audubon on a birding trip from Ogunquit to Biddeford Pool. The group will search for harlequin ducks, scoters, purple sandpipers and snowy owls. Party at Aroostook State Park

10 a.m. in Presque Isle

Aroostook State Park is hosting its annual “Winter Family Fun Day.” Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating (conditions permitting), guided nature interpretive walks, bonfires and hot food will fill the day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Instruction provided. Cost is $1.50 for ages 12 to 64; all others are free. For more information, call 768-8341.
