James Hannigan scored three goals, including the winner 28 seconds into overtime Monday, to give Cheverus a 5-4 boys’ hockey win over Biddeford at the Portland Ice Arena.

The Tigers (9-8) led 4-2 after two periods, scoring twice on power plays. Nik Lemieux, Garren DeWitt, Brady Crepeau and Corey Brown scored for the Tigers.

In the third period, Hannigan and Alex Grant-Roy scored 14 seconds apart for the Stags (9-7-1) to send the game into overtime.

YORK 5, MARSHWOOD/TRAIP 1: Derek Neal’s three goals and an assist to lead the Wildcats (6-10) over Marshwood/Traip (6-11) in Dover, N.H.

Jim Orso and Adam Janenetti each added a goal and three assists. Troy Stevens scored for the Hawks.

MESSALONSKEE 4 GREELY 1: Brandon Nale scored the go-ahead goal on a second-period power play as Messalonskee (16-0) downed Greely (7-7-3) at Family Ice in Falmouth.

Andrew Ray scored for the Rangers.

FALMOUTH 6, LEWISTON 1: Isac Nordstrom tied the game with 9 seconds left in the first period, gave the Yachtsmen (12-5) a 2-1 lead with 11 seconds left in the second period and then assisted on the first three goals of the third period against Lewiston (13-4) in Falmouth.

CAMDEN HILLS 6, WATERVILLE 3: James Orne had two goals and two assists, and James Annis scored twice to lead Camden Hills (12-3-1) against the Panthers (10-6-1) in Waterville.
