To those who doubt the existence of climate change (not necessarily always warming), I suggest you watch a local news show, and pay close attention to its weather report. These reports usually include the record high and low temperatures for the date.

If you look closely at these dates, you will see that most of the record low temperatures for our winter months were recorded several decades ago. Many of our record high temperatures were also recorded decades ago.

Our climates are certainly changing, but the change is not uniform across our planet. Arctic regions are warming at a greater rate than temperate latitudes.

This is partly responsible for our unusual winter this year.

Unfortunately, far too many people deny climate change not because they have examined any scientific evidence, but simply because they do not want to accept that it exists; it conflicts with their preconceived opinions.
