ROCHESTER, N.H. — New Hampshire prosecutors says a man shot in a Rochester mobile home park when authorities served an arrest warrant on him died of three gunshot wounds to his arms and torso.

Authorities say 35-year-old Ben Shannon was shot while corrections officials and a Stafford County sheriff’s deputy were attempting to serve an arrest warrant Monday.

Rochester police responded to a call of shots fired inside the home.

Investigators say Shannon was treated at the scene for a gunshot wound and then taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he died Monday night.

No officers were hurt.

Authorities have not said who fired the gun or what prompted the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
