ORONO — Hartford earned a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Maine in an America East baseball game Monday.

Maine (9-19, 1-5) scored its run in the bottom of the second on consecutive two-out singles by Shane Bussey, Jonathan Salcedo and Sam Balzano.

Jeff Gelinas pitched seven scoreless innings for the Black Bears, fanning seven and allowing just two hits by the Hawks (16-10, 6-2) after taking a no-hitter into the fifth inning.

 

ST. JOSEPH’S 4, COLBY 2: Nic Lops’ double off the base of the left-field wall scored Louie Vigars with the tying run, and Joe Coyne singled in Alex Lorenc with the go-ahead run as the Monks (13-6) scored twice in the bottom of the third to take a 3-2 lead over Colby (10-4) at Standish.

Zack Graham had three hits for St. Joseph’s, while Coyne had two hits and an RBI.

Tim Corey had three hits and two RBI for the Mules.
