FREEPORT — Dan Quint had a pair of singles, three steals and scored three runs as Wells beat Freeport  3-0 Monday.

Cody Cousins pitched a complete game in his first varsityt start, allowing four hits and striking out six.

Peter Lamagna lost for Freeport (2-1), walking three and striking out six.

TRAIP 2, WAYNFLETE 0: Henry Driscoll scored on the front end of a double steal in the top of the first inning, and then scored Trevor Salema with a third-inning sacrifice fly to give Traip (1-1) a victory over the Flyers (0-2) in Portland.

Josh Schneier pitched a five-hitter for the Rangers, striking out eight. Tom Silk, with an inning of relief from Isaac Scher, held Traip to three hits.

LINCOLN 3, CAMDEN HILLS 1: Brett Cowan singled home Brady Leeman to break a 1-1 tie in the fourth inning and then scored on Spencer Alden’s double in the sixth, leading the Eagles (1-1) past the Windjammers (1-2) in Newcastle.

Winning pitcher A.J. Oliver held the Windjammers to two hits while striking out five.

YARMOUTH 4, CAPE ELIZABETH 1: Luke Klenda scattered four hits and struck out six over six innings to earn his first career win for the Clippers (2-0) as they downed the Capers (0-2) at Yarmouth.

Klenda also drove in the winning run with a sac fly that capped off a two-run first inning.

OCEANSIDE 13, BELFAST 8: Nick Mazurek had an RBI single and a pair of three-run home runs to lead the Mariners (3-0) past the Lions (2-1) at Thomaston.

James Tobin added four singles for Oceanside.

SACOPEE VALLEY 14, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 3: Brady Anderson scored four runs and drove home two, and Roderick Maynard added three RBI on four hits as Sacopee Valley (2-0) beat the Seagulls (1-1) in a game shortened to six innings in Old Orchard Beach.

Anderson, Maynard and C.J. Dunnells each scored as the Hawks took advantage of two hits and a walk to break a scoreless tie with three runs in the third.

FALMOUTH 9, YORK 2: Addison Foltmer struck out nine in pitching a six-hitter and Patrick Lydon hit an RBI single to spark a seven-run fourth inning as the Yachtsmen (1-0) downed the Wildcats (1-1) at Falmouth.

Patrick Lydick added a pair of doubles and drove in one run for Falmouth and Luke Velas hit a pair of singles.

York got a pair of singles from Jordan Pidgeon.

BRUNSWICK 3, HAMPDEN ACADEMY 1: Brady Larson struck out eight and walked two in tossing a one-hitter for the Dragons (2-0) as they edged the Broncos (1-2) at Hampden.

Hampden starter Matthew Martin pitched a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts and three walks.

CARRABEC 11, BOOTHBAY 1: Levi Murray and Hunter Fernald combined to pitch a two-hitter and lead the Cobras (1-0) over the visiting Seagulls (0-1).

Trent Richardson and Dustin Crawford each had two singles and two RBI for Carrabec and Will Crawford chipped in with two singles and an RBI.

MARANACOOK 4, MEDOMAK VALLEY 3: The Black Bears scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to beat the Panthers at Readfield.

SOUTH PORTLAND 15, CHEVERUS 10: Jack Fiorini scored five times and set up three other goals to lead the Red Riots (2-0) during a victory against Cheverus (1-2) in South Portland.

Ben Bilderback contributed three goals and three assists for South Portland, and Andrew Whipple had three goals and two assists. Tom Lawson tallied four times for the Stags.

DEERING 15, PORTLAND 14: Alec Halpin scored five goals to help the Rams (1-1) edge the Bulldogs (1-1) at Deering. Nate Richards added three goals and an assist and Andrew Johnson and Issac Santerre scored a pair of goals each.

Mike Fuller led Portland with four goals and two assists and Luigi Grimaldi scored three goals.

Lenny Saram had nine saves in the win.

GORHAM 10, MARSHWOOD 3: Colin Harvey’s four goals and two assists paced Gorham (2-0) in a victory over the Hawks (0-3) in South Berwick.

Tristen Brunet and Abraham Eaton added two goals each for the Rams. Shane Mix had a goal and an assist for Marshwood.

SCARBOROUGH 7, THORNTON ACADEMY 6: Brendon Smith scored the winner with 2:33 remaining in the second overtime to lead the Red Storm (3-0) past the Golden Trojans (2-1) at Scarborough.

Christian Neelon had four goals and Austin Doody added three assists. Issac Sinclair scored with 2:54 to go in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime.
