Henry Cleaves scored three goals Tuesday to lead Waynflete to a 6-4 victory against North Yarmouth Academy in a schoolboy lacrosse game at Fore River Fields.

Cooper Chap added a goal and an assist for the Flyers (3-1).

Wes Bright had two goals and two assists for the Panthers (0-4).

 

KENNEBUNK 17, FREEPORT 2: Josh Hussey scored five goals, and Tyler Elkington added two goals and five assists to pace the Rams (2-2) over the Falcons (3-1) at Kennebunk.

Donovan Connor chipped in three goals for Kennebunk, which scored six unanswered goals in the first quarter and extended the lead to 13-1 at halftime.

GREELY 13, YORK 3: Mitchell Mullin had four goals and three assists, leading the Rangers (3-1) past the Wildcats (1-3) at York.

Samuel Peck and Tim Adams added two goals each.

 

SCARBOROUGH 21, DEERING 2: Cam Loiselle, Nate Howard and Braeden Kane each scored twice, and the Red Storm (4-0) had 12 players score against Deering (1-3) at Scarborough.

BRUNSWICK 18, OXFORD HILLS 2: Jameson Cyr scored four goals, and Josh Dorr and Cameron Glover added three apiece, also combining for three assists as the Dragons (4-0) cruised past the Vikings (0-4) at Brunswick.

 

CONY 11, LEWISTON 5: Bronson Kieltyka scored four goals to lead the Rams (2-2) over the Blue Devils (2-3) at Augusta.

Austin Davis and Dan Erbe each scored two goals for Cony, and John Bennett, Kevin Kingsbury and Jon Saban each had one.

Max Bolduc and Riley Bolduc each scored two goals for Lewiston.

OAK HILL 17, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 1: Kyle Flaherty had eight goals and two assists to lead the Raiders at Wales.

Kaleb Sturtevant and Matt Gilbert each finished with two goals, and Alex Pomerleau, Noah Carney and Brent Mulherin added the first goals of their varsity careers.

Steven Gilbert and Chad Merrill each had a goal and an assist, Connor Elwell notched a pair of assists and Matty Martin stopped four of the five shots he faced for Oak Hill. Coyote Freeman made 19 saves on 36 shots for Mountain Valley.

BASEBALL

BIDDEFORD 7, WINDHAM 2: Brady Crepeau pitched a five-hitter and added two hits with three RBI for the Tigers (4-1) against the Eagles (3-2) at Windham.

Crepeau, who also tripled and scored twice, hit a three-run homer during a four-run sixth inning that broke a 2-2 tie.

Dominick Day also had two hits with an RBI for Biddeford.

Zach Conley had two hits and scored for the Eagles, who got their runs in the first.

 

SOUTH PORTLAND 8, BONNY EAGLE 6: Sam Troiano hit a two-run double to spark a seven-run second inning for the Red Riots (5-0) against the Scots (1-3) at South Portland.

Robert Graff, Zach Marles and Jacob Brown added two hits and an RBI apiece for the Red Riots, who added a run in the fifth.

Noah Scribner had three hits and scored twice for Bonny Eagle.

BRUNSWICK 3, MT. BLUE 1: Charlie Lowell pitched four innings of four-hit ball in relief of injured starter John Parker, allowing one unearned run as Brunswick (4-1) edged the Cougars (3-3) at Farmington.

 

CONY 8, BREWER 0: Payton Kennison pitched a no-hitter and came within a hit batter of a perfect game as Cony (1-5) beat the Witches (2-4) at Brewer.

 

MASSABESIC 3, GORHAM 1: Sean Adams allowed four hits, one walk and no earned runs while pitching the Mustangs (2-2) past Gorham (0-5) at Waterboro.

WESTBROOK 3, THORNTON ACADEMY 2: Corey Walker’s single to center drove in Ethan Nash and Blake Gilmore as the Blue Blazes (2-1) overcame a 2-1 deficit against Thornton Academy (2-3) with a pair of runs in the sixth inning at Westbrook.

Caleb Kent had two of Westbrook’s five hits and scored his team’s first run with a steal of home. Ben Lambert had three hits and scored during a two-run third for the Trojans.

 

WATERVILLE 7, MT. VIEW 0: Cam Gardiner went 3 for 4 with two runs and an RBI to pace the Panthers (5-1) over the Mustangs (2-5) at Thorndike.

A.J. Godin struck out four and gave up two hits over six shutout innings for Waterville.

 

WELLS 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2: Connor Pease scored the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly by Tim Barnard as the Warriors (4-1) used a two-run fifth inning to rally past the Patriots (3-2) at Gray.

Barnard, Dan Quint and Bennie McMinis finished with two hits apiece for Wells.

Justin McKenna scattered eight hits for Gray-New Gloucester.

SACOPEE VALLEY 24, RICHMOND 0: Kyle Jordan had four hits and drove in five runs to pace a 19-hit offense for the Hawks (5-0) against the Bobcats (3-1) in a five-inning game at Richmond.

Devin Day added three hits and four runs for Sacopee, which broke the game open with a 10-run first inning.

Brady Anderson had two hits drove in four runs and scored four.

 

ERSKINE ACADEMY 9, BELFAST 6: The Eagles (2-4) scored three runs in the ninth inning to defeat the Lions (3-3) at Belfast.

Zach Isbell, Tyler Bailey and Ryan Rodrigue singled home runs in the ninth

Rodrigue finished with two singles, a double and triple, and Michale Cayouette singled three times.
