SCARBOROUGH — Alyssa Williamson drove in six runs with two homers and a single Wednesday, leading Scarborough to a 15-5 victory against Noble in an SMAA softball game.

Williamson hit an RBI single to give Scarborough (5-0) a 7-1 lead in the first inning.

After the Knights (4-4) pulled within 7-3 on Morgan Perillo’s two-run double in the top of the fifth, Williamson hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the inning, then added a two-run shot in the sixth.

 

POLAND 4, LAKE REGION 0: Kylie Martin pitched a four-hit shutout to lead Poland (3-4) over Lake Region (3-4) at Naples.

Haley Whitworth scored the first run on an infield out after leading off the third inning with a double.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 13, YORK 1: Kristen Chipman pulled a two-out pitch deep over the right-field fence for a fifth-inning grand slam that invoked the mercy rule as the Raiders (3-4) beat York (0-5) at Fryeburg.

Lexi L’Heureux-Carland hit an RBI triple and Amanda Gillette added an RBI double in the fifth.

Kylie Locke had three hits for Fryeburg, driving home two runs in each of the first and fourth innings. The Wildcats managed two hits off Rangers pitcher Jeanette White.

 

SOUTH PORTLAND 33, DEERING 9: Miranda Gleason was 3 for 5 with a home run and eight RBI to help the Red Riots (5-1) down Deering (1-7) at South Portland.

Laurinne German drove in six runs on 4-for-6 hitting and scored four runs for the Red Riots. Paige Carter finished 5 for 6, scored three times and knocked in five runs.

 

CAPE ELIZABETH 10, FREEPORT 1: Ashley Tinsman and Emma O’Rouke had triples to lead the Capers (6-0) past the Falcons (1-4) at Freeport.

Tess Haller added a double and a single, and Katie Rebasca allowed one run in five innings for Cape.

 

BONNY EAGLE 3, SANFORD 2: Alli Pike’s double to the left-field fence in the seventh inning scored Jami Carson from second and gave the Scots (4-1) a come-from-behind victory against Sanford (3-3) at Standish.

The Spartans took advantage of a walk and two errors to open a 2-0 lead in the top of the second.

But Bonny Eagle scored single runs in the bottom of the second and sixth before Carson’s base hit started the winning rally.

Pike held Sanford to two hits, striking out seven.

 

GORHAM 4, MASSABESIC 3: Melissa Walls and Molly Dufour drove in runs in the second inning to give the Rams (2-4) a 3-2 lead against Massabesic (2-5) at Gorham.

Julia Gaudette of Gorham pitched six innings, giving up five hits, one walk and two earned runs.

BIDDEFORD 9, MARSHWOOD 7: Abbie Paquette drove in the tying run with a double in the sixth inning, then scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch as Biddeford (4-2) nipped Marshwood (2-4) at South Berwick.

Paquette also struck out eight, walked four and gave up 12 hits.

Emily Robida of Marshwood struck out two, walked four and gave up five earned runs. Kim Hussey of the Hawks went 3 for 4 with four RBI.

 

WINTHROP 23, BOOTHBAY REGION 0: Alyssa Arsenault had four hits and three RBI as the Ramblers (3-1) rolled past the Seahawks (0-5) in five innings at Winthrop.

Shie Smith added three hits and Abby Helm had three RBI.

MCAULEY 15, PORTLAND 4: Sam Libby, Taylor Whaley, Ally Tillotson and Maddie Beaulieu, the top four batters for visiting McAuley (4-3), combined for 14 hits,12 runs and 11 RBI against the Bulldogs (2-5) at Portland.

Whaley pitched six innings before giving way to Libby, who struck out the side in the seventh.

Gianna Gaudet and Cierra Burnham each had a pair of singles for Portland.

 

SACOPEE VALLEY 12, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2: Miranda Schaubhut doubled home Bailey Marden and Jordan Miner, then also scored during a six-run third inning that gave the Hawks (3-4) a 6-2 lead against Old Orchard Beach (0-6) at South Hiram.

Madeline Sanborn added two hits and a pair of RBI, and McKenzie Cormier pitched a three-hitter for Sacopee.

 

OAK HILL 4, LISBON 3: The Raiders (4-4) rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat the Greyhounds (1-4) at Wales.

Kelsey Collins singled home the tying run for Oak Hill and Grace Sabine followed with the winning hit.

Sabine finished with three hits and winning pitcher Sadie Goulet struck out six.

THORNTON ACADEMY 9, WESTBROOK 5: Hannah Wuerthner scored five goals to lead Thornton Academy (2-1) over the Blue Blazes (2-1) at Westbrook.

Faith Sinclair added two goals, and Carly McKenna had a goal and three assists for the Trojans.

Micaela LeBeau led Westbrook with three goals.

 

FREEPORT 8, FALMOUTH 7: Emily Johnson had two goals and an assist, and Meredith Broderick, Courtney Broderick and Lizzie Martin added two goals each to lift Freeport (4-1) over the Yachtsmen (1-2) at Falmouth.

The Falcons opened an 8-4 lead on Courtney Broderick’s goal with 12:31 left, then weathered Falmouth’s closing flurry as Molly Lane made key saves in the final minutes.

Julia Spugnardi scored twice for Falmouth; Sydney Bell added a goal and two assists.

 

GREELY 10, YORK 9: Jocelyn Mitiguy scored with 1:13 left in the second overtime to lead the Rangers (2-2) past the Wildcats (2-2) at Cumberland.

Gabby Bouchard and Teal Otley combined for five goals and Krystyna Rybka had 15 saves for Greely.

Courtney Cole, who had five goals for York, scored with 1:30 remaining in regulation to force overtime.
