This will be our last edition of GO! but our Thursday entertainment lineup isn’t going anywhere. It will simply be getting a fresh look to better represent our collaborative work with mainetoday.com. Together, MaineToday Magazine and mainetoday.com will bring you even more of the best in things to do, eat and see – in print and online.

MaineToday Magazine will keep readers informed through profiles of musical performers and previews of shows – both big and small – coming to Maine. We’ll also keep tabs on the best of the art scene around the state, while our theater coverage will continue to examine both mainstream and experimental performances.

The popular Eat & Run, Bar Guide and Indie Film columns will stick around with their familiar bylines.

Movie lovers will still see reviews and a listing of what’s opening this week in local theaters.

And of course, we’ll always tell you what you need to know about the best of the region’s weekly events.

Next week we will be adding exciting new features, like Maine Mini-Adventures, highlighting fun day trips close to home and regular roundups of dining and drink happenings. The “Do This” feature will be for people looking to try something new.

Be sure to check out next Thursday’s Portland Press Herald for our new MaineToday Magazine.

Then get ready to go out and do stuff.
