YORK — Patrick O’Shea hit a grand slam, a three-run homer, a two-run homer and drove in nine runs Monday as Greely, which totaled three grand slams, rolled to a 25-2 victory against York in a five-inning Western Maine Conference baseball game.

Michael McDevitt and Joe Saffian also had grand slams for Greely (6-1).

It was a day of school records for the Rangers. O’Shea’s three homers tied a school record set by Mark Curneil in 1975, and the nine RBI broke Curneil’s record of eight.

Also, the three grand slams in a game set a school record, and the 15 runs in the first inning tied a mark.

Derek Neal hit a two-run homer for York (4-3).

LINCOLN ACADEMY 8, BELFAST 3: Tim Farrar had two hits, including an RBI single during a three-run fifth inning that extended a 3-1 lead as the Eagles (5-3) pulled away from the Lions (3-5) at Newcastle.

POLAND 9, WELLS 3: Kaleb Bridgham had a single and a home run as the Knights (6-2) defeated the Warriors (4-3) at Wells.

Shawn Murphy added a double and a single for Poland. Daniel Quint had a pair of singles for Wells.

SACOPEE VALLEY 4, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Anthony Haskell pitched a five-hitter with no walks and five strikeouts to lead Sacopee Valley (8-0) over Traip Academy (4-3) at South Hiram.

Haskell also singled, doubled and scored twice.

The Hawks scored three runs in the third inning to snap a 1-1 tie. Brady Anderson led off with a double and scored the go-ahead run on an error.

YARMOUTH 14, LAKE REGION 3: Cody Cook was 3 for 3 with a triple and three runs as the Clippers (5-2) beat Lake Region (0-6) in five innings at Yarmouth.

Connor Lainey was 2 for 2 with an RBI, and Luke Klenda struck out five for Yarmouth, allowing three runs on five hits.

BIDDEFORD 6, PORTLAND 4: Kerry Crepeau hit a two-run double and Nate Huot added a two-run single to spark a five-run fifth inning for the Tigers (5-2), who built a 6-2 lead and held off the Bulldogs (4-3) at Biddeford.

Crepeau, Casey Twomey and Corey Brown finished with two hits apiece for the Tigers.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Brandon Hubbard pitched a six-hit shutout as Gray-New Gloucester (5-2) edged the Capers (3-4) at Cape Elizabeth.

Hubbard struck out seven and walked two.

Justin McKenna singled in the run in the sixth inning.

OCEANSIDE 4, WINSLOW 1: Ben Mazurek struck out five and walked two in a five-hitter, and also had a pair of hits to lead the Mariners (8-0) over the Raiders (5-3) at Winslow.

GORHAM 7, SANFORD 1: Eric Komulainan finished with 10 strikeouts and three walks while throwing a three-hitter for the Rams (2-5) against the Spartans (3-4) at Sanford.

Cody Elliott and Nick Greatorex each hit a double and a single and had an RBI for Gorham.

WAYNFLETE 10, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 9: Isaac Scher had three hits and scored three runs for the Flyers (5-3), who held off the Seagulls (3-5) at Portland.

Nik Morrill added three RBI and Joey Schnier finished with two hits, including a triple, for the Flyers, who led 10-6 going into the seventh inning.

LACROSSE

YARMOUTH 7, BRUNSWICK 6: Max Sullivan and Bill Jacobs combined to score six goals as the Clippers (4-2) edged the Dragons (5-1) at Brunswick.

After Brunswick led 5-3 through three periods, Yarmouth scored three goals in a four-minute span late in the fourth.
