A Waterville man has been charged with felony burglary and theft after police say he stole two rings from a local jewelry store last month.
Kevin Barr, 34, put two rings valued at $5,000 on his fingers and ran out of the L Tardif Jeweler on the afternoon of April 15, according to a statement from Waterville police.
Barr turned himself in to the police on Sunday night. His bail has been set at $2,130. He’s also been charged with a residential burglary and a number of other crimes, according to the press release.
The rings have not been recovered.
