STANDISH — Troy Bogdahn pitched a no-hitter and came within one out of a perfect game Wednesday as Bonny Eagle defeated Deering 1-0 in an SMAA baseball game.

Bogdahn allowed a walk with two outs in the seventh inning.

Drake Laughlin had both singles and the RBI for Bonny Eagle (2-8).

Michael Marzilli allowed two hits with four strikeouts and one walk for Deering (3-8).

CAPE ELIZABETH 5, POLAND 4: Nate Ingalls tripled home two runs and scored the third as the Capers (4-7) rallied for three runs in the seventh inning to slip past Poland (8-3) at Cape Elizabeth.

Tony Moulton and Jack O’Rourke hit consecutive singles to lead off the seventh. An out later, Ingalls’ drive to right skidded past a diving outfielder and rolled to the fence for a triple. After two intentional walks loaded the bases, Ingalls scored on a close play on Matt Denison’s sacrifice fly.

YORK 4, WELLS 2: Jordan Pidgeon broke a 2-2 tie with an RBI double in the fifth inning and York (8-4) went on to beat the Warriors (5-6) at Wells.

Pidgeon then scored on Forrest Kelley’s single.

Daniel Bock of York struck out four with six hits and one walk.

SACOPEE VALLEY 15, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 0: The Hawks (11-0) scored nine runs in the first inning and defeated NYA (0-8) in five innings at South Hiram.

Anthony Haskell, who finished with three runs and three RBI, had a two-run single in the first.

Kyle Jordan homered in the third and Pat Westberry added a two-run homer in the fourth.

OCEANSIDE 22, MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE 0: Jimmy Strong allowed one hit, striking out seven and walking three as the Mariners (10-2) cruised past the Huskies (1-10) in five innings at Pittsfield.

Caleb Jacob had three singles, James Tobin and Zach Peaco each added a pair, and Mazlin Higbee had a double and three RBI.

Jeff Boutwell singled for MCI.

BRUNSWICK 1, SKOWHEGAN 0: John Parker pitched a four-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and one walk for the Dragons (6-3) against Skowhegan (3-7) at Brunswick.

Nick Thibeault went 3 for 3 for Brunswick.

TRAIP ACADEMY 7, WAYNFLETE 6: Joe Spinney scored on Jonathan Davis’ single to left in the seventh inning, giving the Rangers (6-5) a walk-off victory over Waynflete (6-5) at Kittery.

Spinney reached on a leadoff walk and was singled to second by Coleman Pelkey.

Davis struck out 11 for Traip.

GREELY 10, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Will Bryant hit a solo home run for a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning, then bounced a bases-loaded ground-rule double during an eight-run fifth as Greely (9-1) shut out the Patriots (7-5) for a six-inning victory at Gray.

Alex McAdoo, Michael McDevitt and Samual Porter combined on a three-hitter for the Rangers.

FALMOUTH 12, YARMOUTH 2: Jesse Melchiskey hit a grand slam as part of a seven-run third inning as the Yachtsmen (9-2) rolled over the Clippers (6-5) at Falmouth.

Will D’Agostino, who had a solo homer in the fourth, and Connor Aube were each 3 for 4 with three runs.

Connor Lainey had three hits for Yarmouth.

MT. ARARAT 7, MESSALONSKEE 4: Mt. Ararat (2-8) scored five runs in the fourth inning to upset Messalonskee (8-2) at Topsham.

Griffin Stockford had three hits for Mt. Ararat. Zach Mathieu had three hits, including a double and a triple, for Messalonskee.

KENNEBUNK 4, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 3: Jacob Boothby scored 33 seconds into overtime as Kennebunk (4-4) beat the Panthers (1-7) at Yarmouth.

Josh Hussey of Kennebunk scored with 2:30 left in regulation to tie it.

Ben Bath finished with seven saves for the Rams. D.J. Nicholas had nine stops for NYA.

BRUNSWICK 15, EDWARD LITTLE 7: T.J. Sullivan had four goals and an assist as the Dragons (7-2) beat Edward Little (3-6) at Brunswick.

Owen Ginty and Cameron Glover added three goals each for Brunswick. Matt Verrill scored twice for the Red Eddies.

CHEVERUS 15, NOBLE 4: Jack Sutton and Tom Lawson each scored three goals to lead Cheverus (5-4) over the Knights (1-5) at North Berwick.

Nick Schleh and Charlie Walsh added two goals apiece for the Stags. Carsten Kocek and Colin Harrigan each scored twice for Noble.
