SOUTH BERWICK — Kaitlin Prince scored five goals and Bailey Adams added three as Scarborough raced to a five-goal halftime lead and held on to edge Marshwood 13-11 in girls’ lacrosse on Tuesday.

The Red Storm (5-3) led 9-4 at halftime.

Lindsey Poirier led Marshwood (6-2) with three goals and one assist and Hannah Folger chipped in two goals and two assists for the Hawks. 

GOULD ACADEMY 15, NORTH YARMOUTH 11: Julia Getman scored five goals and Cathryn Haberman four, leading the Huskies (5-3) past the Panthers (3-5) in Yarmouth.

Abby McKelvy and Olivia Madore each had three goals and two assists for NYA. 

CHEVERUS 9, THORNTON 6: Meredith Willard’s three goals helped the Stags (5-1) beat Thornton (4-3) in Portland.

Elyse Caiazzo added two goals and two assists for Cheverus, and Anne Veroneau two goals. Julianna Grondin scored three times for the Trojans. 

BIDDEFORD 10, BONNY EAGLE 6: Olivia Morrison’s five goals led the Tigers (5-2) over the Scots (1-6) in Biddeford.

Taylor Turgeon added two goals for Biddeford, and Emily Boisvert made 18 saves. The Scots’ Hannah Litif, Leah Carter and Krystal Chaison each scored twice; Abby Ward had 20 saves. 

WELLS 14, FRYEBURG 8: Jasmine Loukola’s five goals and two assists led the Warriors (4-4) over the Raiders (1-7) in Wells.

McKenna Gerchman had two goals and an assist for the Raiders. 

YARMOUTH 11, CAPE ELIZABETH 10: Shannon Fallon, Grace O’Donnell and Emma Torres each had three goals as the visiting Clippers (6-1) edged the Capers (4-3).

Hannah Newhall had three goals, and Liz Robinson and Abby McInerney added two apiece for Yarmouth.

MASSABESIC 6, WINDHAM 5: Rayne Whitten finished with three goals and Lexi Foglio added two as the Mustangs (7-1) held off a late rally from the Eagles (3-4) at Waterboro.

Emily Gilman led Windham with a pair of goals and goalkeeper Erin Malloy finished with 17 saves. 

MT. ARARAT 15, EDWARD LITTLE 3: Emily Welch scored three goals to lead a balanced attack for the Eagles (4-4) as they downed the Red Eddies (3-5) at Topsham. 

MORSE 20, LINCOLN ACADEMY 4: Sophie Sreden finished with four goals and two assists and Ruth Nadeau scored two goals and collected five assists as the Shipbuilders (6-1) cruised to a win over the Eagles (0-7) at Bath.

OCEANSIDE 11, MEDOMAK VALLEY 4: Paige Tyler pitched a three-hitter and homered during a four-run third inning, leading the Mariners (7-4) past Medomak Valley (3-8) in Thomaston. 

CONY 21, BRUNSWICK 1: A 12-run third inning powered the Rams (10-1) over the visiting Dragons (0-11). 

FALMOUTH 9, KENNEBUNK 2: Amanda Carver pitched a four-hitter with nine strikeouts and had two hits with three RBI to lead the Yachtsmen (8-3) over the visiting Rams (5-6).

Carver hit a two-run single in a three-run first inning, and added an RBI single in the fourth. Elizabeth Walker had a two-run triple in the fifth.

Gabrielle Harrison tripled and scored on a double by Meaghan Dube in the sixth for Kennebunk. 

CAPE ELIZABETH 6, LAKE REGION 5: The Capers (11-0) scored two runs in the top of the fifth on singles by Emma O’Rourke, Mary Perkins and Michaela Pinette to take a 6-3 lead and held off the Lakers (5-6) at Naples.

The Lakers got two runs back in the bottom of the sixth on RBI singles by Samantha Marucci and Abby Scott-Mitchell and had the bases loaded, but Anna Goldstein struck out the final two batters of the inning to preserve the Cape Elizabeth lead.

O’Rourke and Pinette finished with two hits apiece for the Capers and Nicole Marucci had a pair of hits for Lake Region. 

WINDHAM 10, WESTBROOK 7: Libby Mora had a two-run double in the second inning to help lead the Eagles (5-6) past the Blue Blazes (1-10) at Windham.

Katelyn Tucker finished with 10 strikeouts and three walks in six innings to improve to 3-6.

Alexis Fletcher led Westbrook with a two-run single in the seventh inning. 

THORNTON 5, NOBLE 0: Kaylee Burns’ fourth-inning solo homer broke a scoreless tie in North Berwick. The Trojans (7-3) added two more in the fifth and one each in the sixth and seventh to pull away from the Knights (6-4).

Bailey Trembley pitched a three-hitter for Thornton, striking out eight. 

LINCOLN ACADEMY 5, ERSKINE ACADEMY 0: Abby Farrin struck out 11 and walked three in pitching a five-hitter for Lincoln (10-1) over Erskine (2-9) at Newcastle.

Lincoln got a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning on an RBI triple by Morgan Achorn followed by an RBI single from Farrin.

Chloe Hallowell added a two-run triple in the third inning and Miranda Achorn hit an RBI single in the fifth. 

GREELY 14, FRYEBURG 12: Kayley Cimino’s three-run homer highlighted a five-run seventh inning that gave Greely (6-3) a come-from-behind victory over the Raiders (2-6) in Fryeburg.

Jeanette White had a three-run triple and Makayla Cooper a two-run double as Fryeburg built a 10-8 lead over five innings.

Cimino finished with four hits for the Rangers, and Haley Felkel had three hits and scored three times. White had three hits for Fryeburg.
