Alyssa Williamson pitched a one-hitter Wednesday as Scarborough shut out Cheverus 4-0 in a game between the top two teams in the Western Class A Heal point softball standings.

Sophia Burnham had three hits, including a pair of doubles, and Ashley Gleason and Maggie Murphy each added a pair of hits for the Red Storm (11-0) against the Stags (10-2).

CAPE ELIZABETH 2, POLAND 0: Michaela Pinette hit a two-run single in the first inning and the Capers (12-0) held off the Knights (6-7) at Cape Elizabeth.

Kate Rabasca of the Capers pitched five innings, allowing one walk and striking out four.

Megan Nicholson added a single and a double for Cape Elizabeth. Michaela Arsenault had a pair of hits for Poland.

BIDDEFORD 5, SOUTH PORTLAND 4: Alex Quigley hit a two-run, two-out walk-off homer as the Tigers (9-2) overcame South Portland (9-3) at Biddeford.

After Charlotte White gave Biddeford the lead with a two-run single in the fifth, the Red Riots scored on an error in the top of the seventh to tie it before Michaela Willwerth put South Portland on top with a sacrifice fly to right.

Kirsten Lebreux of Biddeford allowed no earned runs on seven hits and two walks.

YARMOUTH 7, FALMOUTH 4: Kallie Hutchinson and Eleanor O’Gorman each had a pair of hits as the Clippers (6-5) defeated the Yachtsmen (8-4) at Falmouth.

Melissa Levinson and Michelle Rochichaud each added a double. Jessica Collins had a triple and Amanda Carver added a double for Falmouth.

BONNY EAGLE 6, WINDHAM 4: Allie Pike, who struck out 11 in a three-hitter, added an RBI double, an RBI single and a run to lead Bonny Eagle (8-3) over the Eagles (4-8) at Windham.

Rebecca Howell added a home run for the Scots.

NOBLE 11, MCAULEY 1: Amber Kelly allowed one run with eight strikeouts as the Knights (8-4) rolled by the Lions (5-8) in six innings at North Berwick.

Kathryn Taylor had a triple and a single, and Melodie Bailey added a pair of singles for Noble. Brooke Hamilton had a two-run single in the fifth and Tyler Chastney added a two-run single in the sixth for Noble.

Allison Tillotson hit a triple for McAuley.

LAKE REGION 1, FREEPORT 0: Samantha Marucci singled with the bases loaded and two outs in the sixth inning to lift Lake Region (6-6) over Freeport (2-9) at Naples.

Ashley Clark of the Lakers struck out 10 in a two-hitter, retiring the last 13 batters she faced.

Vanessa Lee of Freeport struck out five, walked five and gave up five hits.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 9, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Jeannette White pitched a three-hit shutout to lead the Raiders (6-6) over the Rangers (3-7) at Kittery.

White struck out five and walked two for the Raiders, who took advantage of eight errors.

Kaylie Andrews of Traip struck out four, walked four and allowed five hits.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 4, GREELY 3: Stephanie Greaton allowed three runs with nine strikeouts for the Patriots (8-5), who came from behind to defeat the Rangers (8-3) at Gray.

Gray-New Gloucester took the lead for good with a three-run third inning, including an RBI single by Grace Kariotis and an RBI bunt single by Hannah Dixon.

THORNTON ACADEMY 12, MARSHWOOD 0: Morgan Dube doubled twice and homered to lead Thornton Academy (8-3) over Marshwood (4-8) at South Berwick

Dube scored four times and drove in two. Brooke Cross was 4 for 5 and scored twice for the Trojans.

Bailey Tremblay of Thornton allowed six hits with one walk and eight strikeouts.

WELLS 6, YORK 5: Maddie Taylor hit an RBI double in the third inning, followed by a two-run homer from Lauren Bame, and the Warriors (11-0) added the winning run in the seventh inning to defeat York (0-10) at Wells.

Bame allowed eight hits with no walks and struck out eight.

MESSALONSKEE 19, MT. ARARAT 0: Eight players had at least two hits as Messalonskee (6-4) defeated Mt. Ararat (2-8) in five innings at Topsham.

Messalonskee had seven doubles and a triple among its 22 hits.

Kylee Knight had two doubles, a triple and a single. MollyAn Killingbeck, Taylor Easler and winning pitcher Kristen Pelletier added three hits apiece.

CONY 14, LEWISTON 0: Arika Brochu tossed a no-hitter with nine strikeouts and no walks to lead the Rams (11-1) over the Blue Devils (2-10) at Lewiston.

PORTLAND 20, MCAULEY 4: Erin Mahoney, Ella Coose and Merritt Ryan each scored four goals for the visiting Bulldogs (3-4) against McAuley (1-6) at Portland.

SOUTH PORTLAND 12, DEERING 8: Shea O’Brien had four goals and an assist as the Red Riots (4-4) downed Deering (1-6) at South Portland.

Maddie Hasson added three goals and two assists, and Colleen Fleming had three goals and one assist for South Portland.

Wyeth Spike scored three goals, and Casey Girsch and Heather Hodsdon added two each for the Rams.

YORK 12, FREEPORT 11: Courtney Cole scored with 11 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Wildcats (4-4) over Freeport (6-2) at York.

Cole scored two of her team-leading seven goals in overtime. Lindsay Cartmell, who finished with three goals, answered in overtime for the Falcons. Meredith Broderick and Emily Johnson added three goals each for Freeport.

Taylor Simpson had three goals and two assists, and Kara Kelly added four assists for York.

CONY 9, BRUNSWICK 8: Emily Quirion scored with 7:21 left as Cony (5-2) downed the Dragons (3-3) at Brunswick.

Emily Quirion finished with three goals and two assists, and Hayley Quirion and Bayleigh Logan scored three goals apiece for Cony.

Anna McMillan, Sarah Judd and Anjelica Boyle scored two goals apiece for Brunswick.
