Erin Mahoney scored five goals Thursday as Portland emerged with a 20-12 victory against Bonny Eagle in a schoolgirl lacrosse game.

Isabel Stehli added four goals and an assist for the Bulldogs (4-6).

Ellis Linsmith chipped in three goals and one assist for Portland.

Krystal Chiasson had four goals and one assist for the Scots (2-7).

GORHAM 9, CHEVERUS 8: Aliza Jordan, in front of the cage, took Morgan Cushing’s pass from behind the net and shot into the top right to break an 8-8 tie with 2:41 left and carry the Rams (8-3) over Cheverus (6-3) at Gorham.

Jordan finished with three goals and an assist. Meghan Cushing added three goals and three draw controls for Gorham. Meredith Willard scored four times and Alex Logan twice for the Stags.

FREEPORT 10, GOULD ACADEMY 4: Emily Johnson had three goals and two assists, leading the Falcons (8-2) against Gould Academy (5-5) at Freeport.

Lexi Peacock, Courtney Broderick and Meredith Broderick each added two goals for Freeport. Elisie Bouchard scored twice for the Huskies.

THORNTON ACADEMY 9, MARSHWOOD 6: Carly McKenna had four goals and two assists to lead the Trojans (8-3) over Marshwood (8-3) at Saco.

Hannah Wuerthner added two goals for Thornton. Lindsey Poirier scored five times for the Hawks.

MORSE 16, OCEANSIDE 5: Sophie Sreden had four goals and an assist to lead the Shipbuilders (9-1) over Oceanside (3-7) at Bath.

Ruth Nadeau added three goals and an assist, Isabelle Paulus had two goals and two assists, and Maddy Olsen and Ann Tolan added two goals each for Morse.

Abbey Lacasse had a goal and an assist for the Mariners.

WINDHAM 21, MCAULEY 6: Emily Gilman and Sam Greenlaw scored four goals apiece and Hannah Skvorak added three goals to lead the Eagles (7-4) over the Lions (1-10) at Portland.

Natalie Juris led McAuley with three goals and Kaeli Leddy scored twice.

SOFTBALL

BONNY EAGLE 9, BIDDEFORD 8: Deziree Larrivee scored on Kelsy Gaddy’s bases-loaded walk as Bonny Eagle (10-4) took advantage of four walks to score the winning run in the fifth inning against the Tigers (10-4) at Biddeford.

Biddeford led 5-0 after two innings, but the Scots used a pair of four-run rallies to take an 8-6 lead in the top of the fourth.

The Tigers made it 8-8 with a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning.

Melissa McDonald started the winning rally with the first walk of the inning. Larrivee reached on a fielder’s choice before Lauren Turner, Allison Pike and Gaddy each walked.

CAPE ELIZABETH 6, FALMOUTH 1: Mary Perkins lined a two-out single to left, scoring Tess Haller and Elise Flathers with the first two runs of a three-run fifth inning that gave Cape Elizabeth (14-0) a 5-1 lead against the Yachtsmen (8-5) at Falmouth.

GREELY 7, KENNEBUNK 3: The Rangers (11-3) scored six runs in the first inning and held off the Rams (6-9) at Kennebunk.

Meg Dube had a pair of hits for Kennebunk.

PORTLAND 4, GORHAM 3: Amanda Gould doubled with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning and scored on a two-out double by Cierra Burnham to lift the Bulldogs (5-10) over the Rams (7-8) at Portland.

Burnham also hit a solo homer in the third inning, and Ashley Paisley tripled and scored on a passed ball in the fourth to give the Bulldogs a 3-0 lead.

Gorham made it 3-3 in the top of the seventh when Noelle Dibiase doubled, then scored on an infield single by Emily Deluca.

Dibiase finished with three hits for the Rams. Deluca had two.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, LAKE REGION 0: Maria Valente singled home Nichole Lowell to start a three-run third inning for the Patriots (9-6) against Lake Region (7-7) at Gray.

Zoe Adams and Hannah Dixon added RBI singles in the inning, with Sara Carter and Adams scoring.

Stephanie Greaton of Gray-New Gloucester struck out seven and held the Lakers to two hits, including a double by Amy Angelone.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 5, MARANACOOK 4: Alyx York hit a walk-off single with one out in the seventh inning as the Eagles (13-1) scored twice to rally past the Black Bears (6-8) at Readfield.

Abby Farrin pitched a four-hitter for Lincoln, giving up one earned run, striking out nine and walking one.

CHEVERUS 3, NOBLE 2: Sophia Giancotti scored twice, and Olivia Mull scored a run and drove one home to lead the Stags (11-3) to a 10-inning victory against Noble (9-5) at Portland.

Brittany Bell and Brooke Dawson also had RBI for Cheverus. Kathryn Taylor led the Knights with two hits, knocking in Kailey Coleman and also scoring during a two-run seventh that forced extra innings.

MARSHWOOD 8, SANFORD 7: Gianna Riccardi hit a game-tying two-out RBI double, then scored from second base on an infield hit by Meaghan Sandler for the Hawks (5-9), who scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to rally past the Spartans (5-9) at South Berwick.

Sanford took a 7-5 lead in the top of the eighth on an RBI double by Nicole Main and an RBI single by Jordan Wilson. The Spartans had tied it with a pair of runs in the seventh.

Sandler finished with three hits, two RBI and two runs, and Hailey Tarr also had three hits for Marshwood.

THORNTON ACADEMY 16, WINDHAM 1: Morgan Dube and Aleisha Cross homered and finished with three hits apiece, combining to drive in seven runs for the Trojans (11-3) against the Eagles (5-9) in a six-inning game at Windham.

Erin Brayden also had three hits for the Trojans, who broke the game open with nine runs in the sixth.

Bailey Tremblay pitched a five-hitter for Thornton.

Sierra Pattershall had a pair of hits for Windham.

WELLS 14, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Maddie Taylor hit a two-run single during a nine-run third inning, helping the Warriors (12-1) open a 14-0 lead against Traip Academy (5-9) in a five-inning game at Wells.

Sophie Lamb finished with three hits and two RBI for Wells, including an RBI single in the third.

Nodine Webster pitched a two-hitter for the Warriors, striking out six.

YARMOUTH 21, FREEPORT 0: Mari Cooper had a pair of hits, including a two-run triple, and pitched a five-hitter with four strikeouts and a walk to lead the Clippers (7-6) to a five-inning victory against the Falcons (2-11) at Freeport.

Monica Austin and Julia Anastos added two hits apiece for Yarmouth, which took advantage of 20 walks, including seven in a five-run first.

HALL-DALE 22, BOOTHBAY REGION 0: Olivia Maynard pitched a no-hitter and struck out eight to lead the Bulldogs (12-2) over the Seahawks (0-12) in five innings at Farmingdale.

Emily Maynard doubled and tripled for Hall-Dale.
