SCARBOROUGH — Megan Murrell hit a two-run single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to cap a four-run rally and lift unbeaten Scarborough to a 10-9 win over Biddeford in an SMAA softball game Friday.

Biddeford (10-5) trailed 6-1 before scoring eight runs in the top of the seventh inning. The Tigers took the lead on a two-run double by Briana Collard that broke a 6-6 tie.

Murrell and Ashley Gleason had three hits apiece for Scarborough (14-0). Erin Martin and Alex Quigley each had two hits for Biddeford.

CAPE ELIZABETH 11, WELLS 4: The Capers (15-0) scored a pair of runs in each of the first three innings and hit three home runs on the way to a win over the Warriors (12-2) at Wells.

Ashley Tinsman, Tess Haller and Anna Goldstein homered, and Emma O’Rourke had three hits, including a triple.

Jordan Agger hit a home run for Wells.

YARMOUTH 8, FALMOUTH 7: Cat Thompson’s RBI single capped a six-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Clippers (8-6) surged past the Yachtsmen (8-6) at Yarmouth.

Michelle Robichaud, who was 3 for 4 with a double, also had an RBI single during the winning rally, and Abby Nielsen slugged an RBI triple.

Elizabeth Walker homered in the third inning, and Madeline Rouhana and Julia Treadwell each added a pair of hits for Falmouth.

SOUTH PORTLAND 15, GORHAM 9: Olivia Indorf knocked in three runs with three hits, and the Red Riots (11-3) scored nine runs in the last two innings to rally past the Rams (7-9) at Gorham.

Abby Young had five singles for South Portland, while Sarah Micucci added four singles. The Riots finished with 22 hits.

Amber Cavarretta knocked in three runs with two hits for Gorham, which had 12 hits.

FREEPORT 13, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 1: Morgan Karnes hit two doubles and drove in four runs to lead the Falcons (3-11) over the Seagulls (0-16) in five innings at Freeport.

Karnes hit a two-run double in the third inning to put Freeport ahead 5-1, then doubled home two more runs during a seven-run fifth.

Bailey Karnes finished with three hits and Kaitlyn Johnson had two for Freeport.

Abby Dubois paced Old Orchard Beach with two hits.

SACOPEE VALLEY 14, TRAIP ACADEMY 2: Madeline Sanborn hit a three-run triple during a six-run fourth inning and finished with four RBI as the Hawks (6-8) cruised to a five-inning win over the Rangers (7-8) at South Hiram.

Bailey Marden and Madison Schaubhut each had a single and a double to pace an 11-hit attack for the Hawks. McKenzie Cormier pitched a one-hitter, allowing only a fifth-inning single by Olivia Matthews.

Alli Barrett scored both runs for Traip.

MCAULEY 4, DEERING 2: Sam Libby had 10 strikeouts and no walks while tossing a five-hitter and also hit a home run to lead the Lions (8-8) over the visiting Rams (0-15).

Taylor Whaley finished with three hits for McAuley, which scored runs in the bottom of the first.

Deering cut the deficit to 4-2 in the seventh on an RBI single by Lindsay Sweeney.

THORNTON ACADEMY 21, WESTBROOK 0: Taylor Lux went 4 for 5 with three doubles, five RBI and four runs scored to pace a 21-hit attack for the Trojans (12-3) against the Blue Blazes (1-13) at Saco.

Brooke Cross, Kaylee Burns and Aleisha Cross each homered, and Bailey Tremblay struck out eight batters while pitching a one-hitter.

Burns and Erin Brayden each finished with three hits and four RBI. Cross drove in three runs.

The Westbrook hit was a double by Reilley Joyce.

GARDINER 10, MORSE 0: The Tigers (14-0) banged out 17 hits and Brittany Rollins pitched a two-hitter as she shut out the Shipbuilders (3-12) at Bath.

Morgan Carver drove in four runs with two doubles and a single. Lilly Chepke also doubled twice and singled, Lauren Chadwick added a double and a single, and Rollins had three singles.

Rollins struck out 13 and walked one.

YORK 16, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 8: Courtney Cole scored eight goals to pace the Wildcats (6-4) against the Panthers (4-7) at Yarmouth.

NYA got two goals apiece from Abby McKelvy, Alex Wahlstrom, Olivia Madore and Juliana Tardif.

WINDHAM 18, CAMDEN HILLS 2: Luisa Sbardella scored five goals, and Sam Greenlaw added four goals and three assists as the Eagles (7-4) beat the Windjammers (6-5) at Windham.Windham also got three goals and two assists from Emily Gilman, and two goals and two assists from Hannah Skvorak.

Lea Smith and Jess Goodlea scored for Camden Hills.

PORTLAND 21, EDWARD LITTLE 5: Lizzie Landry, Maddie Holton and Sophia Leavitt scored two goals apiece for the Bulldogs (5-6) in a victory over the Red Eddies (0-11) at Portland.

Francesca Haines scored all five goals for Edward Little.

CHEVERUS 21, MCAULEY 2: Alex Logan scored five goals and Elyse Caiazzo added four as the Stags (7-3) cruised to a win over the visiting Lions (1-10).

Meredith Willard chipped in with three goals. Mary Kate Walsh, Abigail Biegel and Allie Scott scored two apiece.

McAuley got goals from Natalie Juris and Amanda Spink.

SANFORD 18, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 9: Sarah Titcomb and Maddy Leigh each had five goals and two assists as the Spartans (5-6) cruised past the Falcons (1-11) at Rumford.

Courtney Gwit added three goals and an assist, and Courtney Dumont and Elizabeth Helmreich each scored a pair of goals.

Katie Puiia scored four goals and Kayla Pingree had three for Mountain Valley.
