Whiskeag Trail Hike 8 a.m. in Bath

Join Bath Trails to celebrate National Trail Day with a 5-mile hike along the Whiskeag Trail. Meet at the Bath YMCA at 303 Centre St. and catch the Bath trolley to the Thorne Head Preserve trail head. The hike will include lessons by local naturalists. No cost. All welcome. Dog Days of Summer 11 a.m. in Kennebunkport

The Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport is honoring dogs next weekend at the Seashore Trolley Dog Day. The museum is dog-friendly every day, but activities this day will celebrate dogs starting with a blessing of the dogs at 11 a.m. The celebration also includes behavior and training tips, a fashion show, a best-outfit contest, best-in-show contest and other events. Bird Songs 7:15 p.m., Wells, June 17

The York County Audubon Society’s annual meeting will feature bird songs by musician Monica Grabin. From cuckoos to owls to ravens, birds have long been the songs in cultures around the world. Grabin will share her music, and the songs and stories of birds. Meet at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm Farm on 342 Laudholm Farm Road in Wells.
