BIDDEFORD — Tanner Laberge scored both runs for 11th-ranked Windham and pitched the first eight innings Thursday as the Eagles knocked off third-seeded Biddeford 2-1 in 12 innings in a Western Class A baseball quarterfinal.

Laberege led off the fourth inning for Windham (9-9) with a double and scored on a sacrifice fly by Spencer Hodge. The Tigers (14-3) tied it in the sixth when Brady Creapeau doubled in Nate Huot.

Laberge led off the 12th by reaching on an error, and eventually scored on another error.

Zach Conley pitched the final four innings for the win, allowing one hit. Laberege gave up five hits and struck out 10.

Huot pitched 10 innings for Biddeford, scattering nine hits and striking out four.

SOUTH PORTLAND 1, CHEVERUS 0: Robert Graff’s one-out single in the bottom of the eighth inning scored pinch runner Hayden Owen as the top-ranked Red Riots (15-2) slipped past ninth-seeded Cheverus (9-9) in a Western Class A quarterfinal at South Portland.

Henry Curran shut out the Stags over eight innings, allowing two hits and no walks. Alex Jacobs of Cheverus allowed just a pair of hits to Graff over seven innings before giving up three hits in the eighth.

Anthony Degifico led off the bottom of the eighth with a single. Jon Vickers’ bunt single moved Owen to second and Cosmo Romano’s sacrifice moved him to third before Graff’s clean single to left.

GREELY 4, YARMOUTH 0: Will Bryant struck out six and walked three in a two-hitter as the second-seeded Rangers (14-3) downed the 10th-ranked Clippers (9-9) in a Western Class B quarterfinal at Cumberland.

Greely made it 2-0 in the second inning when Thomas Buchholz scored on a Bailey Train single, and Train scored on a Chaz Reade groundout.

Mike McDevitt added an RBI double during a two-run fifth.

Buchholz and Train finished with two hits apiece.

SACOPEE VALLEY 8, LISBON 6: Kyle Jordan hit a two-run homer and D.J. Shea added a two-run single during a four-run fifth inning as the fourth-seeded Hawks (17-0) opened a 7-3 lead against the fifth-ranked Greyhounds (11-7) in a Western Class C quarterfinal at South Hiram.

After Lisbon opened the scoring with two runs in the top of the second, the Hawks responded with three in the bottom of the inning, including a two-out, two-run single by Devin Day.

Noah Francis hit a solo homer for the Greyhounds in the fifth and Tucker Brannon added a two-run blast during a three-run sixth that pulled Lisbon within 7-6.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 4, WELLS 3: Sawyer Pinkham’s liner ticked off the third baseman’s glove and into left field, scoring Brady Leeman from second in the fourth inning as the top-ranked Eagles (13-4) opened a 4-0 lead against eighth-seeded Wells (10-8) in a Western Class B quarterfinal at Newcastle.

Lincoln took a 2-0 lead in the first when Wally Morris doubled home Devin Scherer and A.J. Oliver scored on Tim Farrar’s fly to center. Scherer walked and then scored in the third before Lincoln added its final run in the fourth.

The Warriors scored three in the sixth. Charlie Bell homered for the first run, and Matt Marrero and Cody Cousins had RBI on consecutive singles.

WINSLOW 9, OCEANSIDE 1: Trevor Lovely had three hits, including a pair of doubles, and drove in two runs to pace a 13-hit offense for the sixth-seeded Raiders (15-3) against the third-seeded Mariners (12-5) in an Eastern Class B quarterfinal at Thomaston.

Dylan Hapworth of Winslow gave up one run on one hit, striking out six and walking three over five innings.

POLAND 3, MORSE 2: Lukas Johnson led off the bottom of the fourth inning with a home run to break a 2-2 tie, and the third-seeded Knights (13-4) held off the sixth-ranked Shipbuilders (10-7) in a Western Class B quarterfinal at Poland.
