NEW FACES

Baljinder Brar, M.D., joined the Medical Rehabilitation Division of Spectrum Medical Group.

Brar was previously an associate physician at the National Spine and Pain Centers in Virginia. She completed her residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center in New York and went on to complete an interventional spine and pain fellowship at Alabama Orthopedic, Spine and Sports Medicine Associates.

 Heidi Sawyer joined Manpower Maine as manager of market engagement. Sawyer, of Lewiston, brings more than eight years of experience in employment advertising, marketing and public relations. Most recently, she served as the marketing manager for JobsInTheUS.com.

 Peter Casey joined USI Insurance Services LLC as vice president of its commercial insurance practice in its South Portland and Lewiston offices. Casey has over 22 years experience in insurance. Prior to joining USI, he spent three years as a commercial lines agent for Varney Insurance Agency.

 Graeme Kennedy joined the Portland Museum of Art as a communications and new media specialist.

Kennedy most recently worked for Might & Main as its production manager. He has also worked at Rogues Gallery as merchandising, retail and brand manager. Before that, he was assistant to the production director at GQ magazine and founded his own record label and music marketing company.

PROMOTIONS

 Tiffany Fortier was promoted to vice president of sales, marketing and client relations at FISC Solutions. Fortier joined FISC in October of 2003 and has held multiple positions, including client relations representative and client relations manager/trainer. She had been in her most recent position of sales and marketing director since July 2010.

 Nancy Marshall Communications promoted two key staff members in its Augusta office.

Jen Libby, a graphic designer, was promoted to Web developer. Libby joined the company in 1998. Her most recent website for Lulu Lobster Boat, www.lululobsterboat.com, gained attention from visitors and the media for its visual appeal and ease of use.

Ebb Walton was promoted to an online marketing specialist. Since joining the company in 2013, Walton has excelled at developing online marketing funnels to educate prospective customers and create top-of-mind awareness for clients.

 Shelly Clark was named vice president of operations for the Maine Real Estate & Development Association.

Clark, of Portland, has been with MEREDA since 1997. In her new role, Clark will be responsible for managing all day-to-day operations, including coordinating educational programs, membership development and retention efforts, as well as marketing and communications.

 Jeff Hughes, a longtime employee of M2 Services Group, was promoted to senior technician of the Rooter-Man of Southern Maine, Seacoast and Central New Hampshire.

Hughes has more than 20 years of experience in plumbing and draining. His new responsibilities include troubleshooting technical problems and supervising the Rooter-Man technicians.

 Ember Earl was recently promoted to branch manager at cPort Credit Union’s Scarborough Branch. Earl joined cPort in 2010 as a teller and was previously assistant branch manager.

 Meteorologist, author, and educator David Epstein was recently appointed vice chair of the alumni council at Colby College in Waterville.

Epstein, a 1986 Colby grad, has been a member of the alumni council since 2006. Epstein was on-air at WCVB-TV in Boston for 16 years and now freelances for WGME in Portland. He is a gardener and columnist for several newspapers, including the Portland Press Herald and the Boston Globe.

 EMHS Beacon Health Case Management program received accreditation from NCQA, National Committee for Quality Assurance. Beacon Health is the first care delivery system to achieve this distinction.
