LAWRENCE, Mass. — Police say they have recovered weapons, a fuse and powders from a Lawrence home and that there was no threat to neighbors.
Police issued an all-clear on Sunday, ending an hours-long evacuation of the neighborhood.
Officials say the mother of a deceased man found the materials in her son’s apartment and called police.
Methuen and Lawrence police responded with a hazardous materials team and Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad also arrived at the scene.
