BERLIN, N.H. — New Hampshire Fish and Game officers say an ATV rider is recovering after he lost control of the machine on a Jericho Mountain State Park trail and it flipped over on him.
Officers say 20-year-old Daniel Carreiro of Scarborough, Maine, was making a turn on a downhill slope when he lost control and went over the bars of the machine Sunday night in the Berlin park.
Rescuers from the New Hampshire Trails Bureau and the Berlin fire, police and EMS departments assisted Carreiro and took him to a hospital for treatment.
